Exactly. I figure it would be the other way around, wouldn't it? More like, that would be a good thing, no?

I have a question about this - what exactly is Steven claiming that Bronco did wrong? Is it just Bronco lying to NASA? Based on the story from the trail, NASA seems to already know all about that.

I admit I only read it carefully recently - but I am not sure what Steven is trying to prove.
So far the records we have show:
* financial transactions of almost $10 million (not sure who is reponsible for these);
*the reveal that Bronco's father, and Bronco are connected to the PBTE because of the will(and that PBTE has a good motive to get revenge on Bronco as well as the likelihood that the asteroid information was leaked to PBTE only to be reported by Leon as a vision) ;
* the fact Steven had what seems to be genuine letters written to Leon by Anton (no idea why he should have them-one of them for some reason I couldn't open, is that the one with something about an abandoned daughter?);
*the reports about transmission failing which seems to be contradicted by the internal Orbicon memo about the three types of microrobots;
*and the mysterious death of the man working on the door hinge (to the station?) on New Years Eve 2004 - in spite of extra security.

And the latest solve by gb where steven says he is sorry but doesn't say good-bye ?

The absence or ineffectiveness or maybe interference of security seems to be a continuing thread. Other than that, it is a hopeless muddle to me. I am going to follow Giskard's advice to not overthink this one .
