[EMAIL] Seth - 1/15/06

I emailed Seth after Davina's post, trying to ask him how we could help with the situation... and I'll admit.. tellign him I wish he'd talked ot us a bit more first. I also suggested he look around for those datacards some more

Quote:
Andrew,

Yes, Davina is angry. Trust me, it killed me to interrogate her the way I did, but it had to be done. She wouldn't even give me an explanation for why her picture was on the Inept site. Looking at the picture while she was standing in the room only made it more obvious that it is her. As for the sister idea, it does seem a little far-fetched. I'll look into her birth records anyway just to be sure. It should only take a few days.

I don't think it is a good idea for me to go to #inquiringminds to discuss the case at this time. Several people have pointed out to me that the room is no longer secure. I know that these restrictions are hindering our progress on the case. The micro robot transmissions and Steven's puzzle found in the caches from Indiana and Wisconsin still have not been decoded. It really helped to have a central place where you and your team could read my thoughts on the case and respond.

And yes I have looked for the data card. It was definitely taken from the office. Someone got into the locked drawer and took it. I even cleaned the entire office looking for it the other day. I just wish I knew exactly how someone gained access to my journal. It's the only way they could have known about the data card. Until I find out where the weakness is, I can't fix the problem.

I just hope that someone else hasn't found Steven's caches by now. If whoever has the data card had access to my journal, they most likely have enough information to have gotten the caches by now. I've been considering contacting the local authorities in Brisol and Melbourne to have them search the areas. I think it may be time for more drastic actions like this.

Seth

P.S. And just for the record, I didn't set up a date with her. I only asked her if I could stop by.

My big concer is with the last two paragraphs. Maybe we should tell Seth about the ribbons now?

My thoughts are these: Until I find out that Stevie is really a horrible rocot sent to kill the mae family my loyalties lie with her over anyone else. I still stand by the fact that I think we should wait to tell Seth about the ribbons until we get them. We know there is a bad spy somewhere, attacking crappert etc., so they may have access to our info and be able to disrupt the delivery of the ribbons. It sucks to keep Seth in the dark but I still think it is necessary at this time. What I don't get is didn't he look at what was on the datacards before Stevie took them? I mean I would have. So why doesn't he share what was on them with us? He seems to feel his email list is secure so what's the deal? Anyways those are my two cents.

Just to calm him down and keep him form contacting cops, I could email him and be cryptic... .tell him to hold off, that we have an idea and will get back to him shortly.

Yep, I like this idea. If we really don't trust Seth (as some have suggested), then I think we need to get our own hands on these packages. Oh, and I want to be there when we find the package, I don't want to have to hear about it in an email Confused

I don't think it'll hurt to try to stall him for a few days until we get the ribbons.

So it sounds like there is at least one other puzzle besides the 1976 wav that we haven't solved yet.

Also - could Stevie's rust experiment be pointing us to the NASA badges and their pristine state? I don't know how long it would have take them to rust. Just a thought as Stevie's experiments are usually hints.
