From the webdings message I presume it's a private AOL chat room. It said AIM so I think you'll need to download the free messenger. I know if you're an AOL member there's a search box for private chat rooms, just type in the name and it takes you to the chat. A chat invite might be sent out but it's a bit unlikely as we've been told the chat room name. So I guess it's a case of lurking in the chat a while before 8pm on the 17th and keeping an eye on securityserver.tk for those security codes.

Aim chats are simple. But you'll need AIM.[/url]

I didn't know you could do that, but then it's been a while since I used an AIM chat room. I feel hopelessly out of date, lol. Only 4 days to go now. Still no luck with TINGA SIEBA NIG.

That would make sense considering it was posted on the trailer page for the game. Good work wisdomwarrior

(unlurking from this one...)
Anyone notice the strange bolding on the
http://geocities.com/composer_a/ page?
The boldings of names often start a letter early,
and there are a few random letters bolded in the middle of words.
These are the out-of-the-ordinary boldings...

only thing I see is the single letters give the ever-present "eye"

good spot, the only thing I notice is the unbold letters at the end gives us another eye.
and I forgot we never finished decoding War & Peace...

Yeah, I was looking at the War & Peace code myself.
I did go back and do the first 4 steps myself
and got the same code as was already posted here...
Nothing is clicking though -- there are all 26 letters and all 10 numbers
there, and the numbers and letters both appear quite often,
so it doesn't really seem to be a simple substitution.
I think I've seen one like this before, but I just can't get any
of my ideas to work out.

Today's the day. 9 more hours to go.
Somethings have been really niggling away at me for the last few days it's probably just my overly pedantic attitude to grammar though.

"Us" not I which begs the question who did he arrive with?
Then there's the image on his Yahoo profile that says:
Quote:
We regret to inform you that during a rebel attack on the
immersion business site south of Lucia, the village of
Renata suffered damage.
So is the "us" the rebels? If so what are they there rebelling against?
I'm assuming that Immersion Labs are the labs on the island, I think that's a safe bet. Why does Jared always refer to them as "the eyes"? Is it something to do with the satellites?
There are a few other questions I wrote down that made perfect sense at 11pm last night. But now in daylight they just look like paranoid scribblings. Ah well. Feel free to tell me I'm just being overly suspicous.

Jared (the composer), Evan and some others were on a tour in Europe. He (Jared) had posted that in his blog which then was exchanged with the page mentioning The Composer to be the pre-game , as far as I rember.
