Actually, suspect they will be overwhelmed by the stench of rat.

Friday afternoon you'll finally find that file you spent all last week looking for, and practically right under your nose. Too bad it's too late now, huh? Better luck next time, sweet pea.

I soooo hope they arent talking about us!

Or could someone else be after teh same file that we are?

If that is us, that's suggesting our Mixolydian what be much use from Friday and we lose all hope of getting any information from Hesh.

Lets just pray its not us!

In any case, I would shy away from asking Kurt or Violet for anything for a while. Kurt's on watch by the secret police before even getting us to the site, and Violet's co-worker kicked the bucket while she's still waiting for the last page of the diary.

Anyway, I threw up a few posts myself, of which I can lay the gist.

1. Charlie saying "Alright, calm down, you gonna lock me out or something?"

2. "Kevin" (ie Charlie again) talking about how he refuses to get off his arse to help the file system complaints.

3. Victor telling Simon about how unreliable the Lost & Found system is

The latest replies are timestamped today - it looks like they are being processed quicker now. Maybe this is to try and speed things up?

Okay. Speaking as the ditzy employee and student who never can remember her passwords or logins, how far-fetched would it sound to post something along the lines of, "/blush I can't remember the file system password... again. Anybody want to give me a hint so I don't have to go ask in person for the millionth time?" Cool It's often worked for me in my jobs.

Id like to think it would be that simple.

like it

I was wondering if you look at Charlie's profile he says:

talks about loads of redundant data
Quote:
It has multiple redundant database connections to make sure the relay distribution routing servers never fail to get you support accurately and on time. At least that's what I tell people.

could this be our way in?

Could it be somethig simple like finding out what Stephanie Mou's(marketing) kid's or cats names are? I was also thinking of Dottie Carrick(production) if she's the "CRAZIEST" maybe we can get her to pull a prank and getting us the password (to put a silly avatar on the victim's profile etc.) Just throwing some ideas around. Thanks.

I don't see any problem of sending Kurt to the bar, I mean he is given the task of finding the person who put it on the album aswell.

The only problem I can see is these people may know who Kurt is, but then again that may make them feel more relaxed when drunkly given away the password into their intranet system Wink

I can see how this is going to go, we're going to end up with a message board, with cube chasers posting and Hesh employees posting, and us not knowing which posts are which (given the un-UN players out there)

If tomorrow was on fire, would it get hotter and hotter as it gets closer, or would it stay the same as tomorrow never comes?

EDIT: More seriously I was just playing about with addresses and found this:

http://www.hesh-intranet.com/heshencrypted/file_system/personal/jilltowers.php

while there is nothing there yet, there is some structure. The 5 parrallel boxes correspond to the Internal News, Staff Roster etc..

Also in the source code it references "data/file_system.swf"

drunken revelry? This looks like a job fFor Caine!
heh. you'd think i was a fFan of caine or something.

I kinda like getting Dottie Carrick's attention. She being crazy and all. But keepping her on the down-low about it would be difficult.

I know my three messages may have seemed a bit random, but there is a plan behind them. A plan so infinitely brilliant and convoluted, only the highest caliber of James Bond villians could construct it...

1. The first, to establish myself as Charlie; get into the role, pretend to make nice, while planting the idea of locking Charlie out. But...

2. At the same time, continue the hated Kevin-posing, and also mocking his inactive stance to the coming complaints.

Hopefully, I could tick off Kevin enough for a ban on Charlie, and perhaps whenever he may be allowed back on, the procedure might shed light on a way in.

Lock a man out, wait for him to open the door, then follow him in... Twisted Evil

The third was in defense of "Bobby"; call it hedging the bets.

I don't think this is anything, this is the same page as the standard file system page, except that because it's not in the same directory it can't find the images and the login shockwave file.

If you try any file name under http://www.hesh-intranet.com/heshencrypted/file_system/ you get the same result.

I have found this page:

http://www.hesh-intranet.com/heshencrypted/file_reader.php?id=?

It was referenced in the js file for the site.

I think it's used to display the files, but I've tried a number of id's and haven't found anything.

nice one

I had tried hundreds of variations on the file_system - but not that.

I have tried kids birthdays, pets names god knows what that I found on the profiles. Guin scores nil point

I have noticed that when you goto the profiles they each have ids will try this.

I think cracking the user id is a good bet as I can see no way that we will get the stuff on the notice board and I am very worried we have until Friday to crack this. As they say on Hesh
