PCAG points I've noticed some changes on the leaderboard this morning - was it only the first 3 teams who got points awarded?
I thought we might all have had our team scores added to our leaderboard scores, but a new player in our team still has the same points they had before yesterday so it looks like that hasn't happened.
Can anyone shed any light?

I've no idea how many they're awarding points to or how many, but they specifically said each team WON'T get their team score addeds to their points, and that the bonus won't be anything near the scores we acheived.

Mine have gone up by about 100 I think (I'm sure it was 1600 last night and its 1700 now, not exactly but arround).

there's no change at the top, all of us at number one still have the same points (not that I'm expecting points as we came 8th in the event) but all the numbers 1's are still at 6918.

I doubt anything will be done about points until Monday anyways, MC will not be working today I imagine.
From what I heard they do want to try and differentiate between the top players, though I'm not sure what proportion of the points earned by the teams will be awarded.

Well surely by awarding the points to everyone it will juggle the board up? I mean I was in the 1st place grouping but by coming around 14th yesterday it will def throw me down the board a bit.
But yeah it is Sunday, all the crew looked just as exhausted as us so I imagine the MC guys are as wel and won't do anything till Monday, maybe Tuesday. (They deserve a full 2 days off after yesterdays success!)

I have to say I think it's kinda crappy awarding points as there were so many who couldn't come to the event and so had zero chance of gaining them, it's not like they will be able to make the points up.
There's hundreds of players who were denied the chance to come along because of the process.

It's not like they won't be more oppurtunities to get points.

Maybe that was because he hadn't solved Ciphers of History.

I'm sure they feel like such victims. Maybe they shouldn't do the live events at all to make it fair to all the people who can't come along.
Equality of mediocrity is the best.

I'd guess you are being sarcastic (incidentally the lowest form of wit). The live event was a blast and I'm sure everyone enjoyed it - I certainly did despite the immense hassle I had getting there. I don't think points are neccessary as part of the prizes to make the event enjoyable - ask anyone from teams who didn't win.
My point is that people were unable to come as prevented from attending by MC due the unexpected demand.

There will hopefully be further live events, but I don't think they'll become common events, we'll be lucky if there's more than 2 per year, and if people are unable to attend due to the goalposts being moved then I feel it is unfair.
Oh and BTW as my team were in the top 8 this isn't a sour grapes thing.
