It seems we always drift away from the main issue in meta discussions, don't we Wink I guess we just don't have enough meta around here... so when one issue does come up, it's a good oppurtunitiy to raise other semi-related issues.

I've seen what happened to Glecius in the #araya room happen a few times before. My advice now is the same as it was then. If a new person enters an in-game room, please, please, please don't interrogate them. Overwhelming someone like that is a good way to make sure they'll leave, and never come back. (Which I have seen happen on more than one occasion.)

You have to look at it like this; if they are a character, they're in the room for a reason. If they have something to say, they will say it. You don't have to sit them down in a chair and shine a bright light in their face to make them talk. Please, treat everyone - whether they are a character or not - with common courtesy.
