Dear Player,

Congratulations, you have successfully registered as an official player at the Perplex City Academy Games event in London! There are around 40 teams taking part, with well over 200 players in total.

In some cases, we have merged smaller teams and added some 'random' players to existing teams that were left open. With that in mind, here are your details:

Your Team Name: <Team Name>

The people in your team are:

<Team Details>

You can find out the email addresses and other information about your fellow team members by logging into
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
http://events.perplexcity.com
as usual. At the website, you can also find updated information about the event, including the location of the venue, how to get there, what'll be happening on the day, and a whole load of other frequently asked questions.

As the event approaches, we may send you further updates about what to expect and how to prepare. In the meantime, if you have been placed into a team, or your team has new members, why not introduce yourself to them via email? Success in the games will require good teamwork, so it's essential you get to know one another.

Again, congratulations, and we look forward to seeing you on 25th February!

Mind Candy and the Perplex City Academy Games

Dear Player,

Unfortunately, we were not able to assign you a place for the Perplex City
Academy Games London event, due to huge demand. However, you are more than
welcome to come along as a spectator; there will be plenty of things to do,
including areas to trade cards and swap tips about puzzles, and you'll be able
to watch some of the challenges and keep track of all of the teams on our live
leaderboard. For information about coming along as a spectator, please visit
Spoiler (Rollover to View):

We do intend to hold additional Academy Game events in the UK in future, so keep
an eye out for announcements on http://www.perplexcity.com

Despite the bad news, hopefully we'll see you at the event on 25th February
anyway!

It should still be good day though-if you can't make it for the day, make it for the evening.

Indeed Very Happy
Well the speed typin worked and we're in hooray! Cool

Missed out on arctic monkey tickets last nite as Wolverhampton seems to have gone a bit mental for them so at least the karma has worked and my team is in the event.
Sorry to all those who didn't but maybe you'll be glad of that when we all find out the specifics Confused

Hope to see many of you there too

What's 'base camp'?

It's City Temple church, and it's where the 200 registered players will gather at 12pm. When there, we'll tick players off a list and give them a name badge. At around 12:30pm or so, we'll give a talk to everyone explaining how the games work, and then the games will start at 1pm. Most of the tasks and challenges will be taking place around London, but many of them will be within the base camp venue itself.

Holborn tube I think.
