[META] Questions for the PMs!

OT: Hey, is that avatar from Lufia2? Hmm. No, I guess it's more recent, but maybe there were sequels I don't know about.

Back on track:

I think you were the first person to send them an e-mail, Jinx. You won the prize. The prize of hatred and insult!

My questions:

1. The obvious one: What was up with the "exciting second phase"? If that was just a teaser, it was a damn mean one...

2. I MUST know how the mp3s were supposed to be "solved"...was it just the text inside of some of them or were the sounds/music supposed to mean something, too?

3. The 3 correspondences...dying to know what was in there.

4. The Tokyo Cipher...ditto

I realise there should be a question #5, but I'm out of ammo for the time being.

First off, let me say thank you to the PM(s) for his/her/their work on this. I really enjoyed it, and although the ending isn't quite what I wanted or expected, it's a reminder that real life doesn't always have those nicely wrapped-up endings.

So my questions are somewhat redundant. Furthermore, they're not all questions. But here goes.

1. Kudos on the photography, web site design, and logo work. I thought they were all very good - for some reason, the web site design, while so simple, did it for me. I really can't explain it.

2. Yeah, if I could get a shirt...

3. OK. I gotta say, I would really like to know how to solve those ciphers. On a side note, Rowan mentioned that you added those in for the more cipher-loving of us. Did you just encode them using something like CipherClerk, or did you learn/know about ciphering? Either way is laudable, I'm just curious.

4. Whatever inspired you to do this!?

Actually, that's from Chrono Trigger, a cute little SNES game from the 90's.
