Looking at my profile, I have one that looks like this:

but I have no idea what it means

Just asked on the PxC forums...guessing that it might be something which is awarded once you hit a certain points total...but it's pure guesswork.

It looks like badges for finished sets, to me.

Red Maze, Green Checkers, etc.

Had a quick look and it doesn't appear to be related to sets from what I can tell.

It appears you have to have red before orange, orange before yellow etc.
So I think it is either your rank or points, but if it was rank it would be possible to lose a Leitmarks and this seems unlikely.

If it is points based then:
Red requires 950, Orange 2300, Yellow 4500, Green 5900.

If you sign in it tells you to update your address so they can send you "game prizes". This is unlikely to mean the New York and London Events, so I am guessing that we get sent the leitmarks that we are awarded.

It's OK, even if you put your whole address in, it still only displays you city and country on the profile page that everyone else can see.

~~Looks to be awarded when you solve all available cards in a color group...Ive solved all red and orange and have red and orange leitmarks~~

*EDIT*

Just looked at donstobbart(first placer) and she doesn't have any leitmarks above green, so maybe not
