 		I also found http://veritas.atspace.com, but I really dunno if it's IG or not. It says it's an Everquest II guild, but all the links are broken except the homepage, and it says...

 		At zero, the counter was replaced by the word "Silencio" The Vidi page (http://vidi.atspace.com/), which used to say "for the new world" was replaced with the text about kBots.

I do know whatever happened brought down the company she worked for, too.

whatisthesilence: my world runs parallel to your own. i believe you would call it an "alternate universe." something happened about thirty years ago, however, that carried over elements of your world to mine. in fact, william visited my world while he was still in his mother's womb, and because she breached what we call the "Fence," i was born here.
so, to put it simply, i am Will's Terran-self, where as he is my Earth-self.
ME: wow....and so the place that you live is called....Terra?
whatisthesilence: yes, that is correct.
ME: funny, one of my favorite books of all time has a similar concept
whatisthesilence: oh, really? i do like books. which book is that?
ME: Ada, or Ardor, By Nabokov
whatisthesilence: ah, i'm ashamed to say i've never read it. vladimir nabokov is a fantastic writer, however.
ME: i love him. I once bored a guy to death at a party going on and on about Nabokov's use of language

ME: how is it you're able to talk to any of us? how are you able to cross the "fence?"
whatisthesilence: ha ha! i hope we can have that conversation someday. i would not be bored in the least!

whatisthesilence: as for my crossing of the Fence, that is rather complicated as well. you see, i am able to contact you via the "Bridge." even i do not understand it. i believe it was put in place by your world's governments after they made contact with my world, shortly after the incident involving Josephine Caulfield's failed attempt at travel. it allows information to basically pass through time. it used to be used rather frequently in the years following the first contact, primarily through military and government outlets, but i guess there was a "falling out" out between our two worlds a short time later. and thus, Centuria has limited access to it. us Preventers use it rather sparingly, as VERITAS may spot us at any time. and if VERITAS catches you breaking any Centurian laws, then you're, well, dead!
ME: what is a Preventer, or more importantly, what are they trying to prevent?
whatisthesilence: we're an underground resistance group trying to end Centuria's rule. and i suppose we're trying to prevent them spreading their rule any further throughout the galaxy.
ME: hmmm.....forgive me for limited understanding of physics...but i'm confused
you're from another world.....how does this idea of moving thru time enter into the equation?
ME: From what little i know about your world, you seem to me much further in the future than my world
whatisthesilence: i, sadly, have a limited knowledge of physics myself. i do know that it involves FTL (faster-than-light) travel and all that mumbojumbo. there was a time when i was very young that knowledge of how everything works was available to people like myself, but once the PCB started controlling the Ports, such knowledge was limited to only the highest tier Centuria members.
ME: so what is your reason for reaching out and talking to people in the world, when it is so dangerous?
ME: sorry...THIS world
whatisthesilence: well, you see, this thing called the Silence is very dangerous, and it's very important that William knows what to do. but, it seems he's gotten himself into a predicament. basically, i must inform him (should he return) that he has to contact a man he wrote a rather nasty article on in the past.
ME: oh!
whatisthesilence: yes, but he's nowhere to be found now, i suppose. can i trust you with this task instead?
ME: of course, i'll do whatever i can
whatisthesilence: wonderful!
whatisthesilence: unfortunately, i do not know much about this individual nor do i know much about the publication william wrote for. but, since it seems ms. winston is trying to figure out where william has gone, i believe she may be able to help as well.
ME: alright, i'll pass the information along to her
ME: do you know the name of the publication?
whatisthesilence: thank you.
whatisthesilence: if she's able to, could you ask her to somehow track down the issues of this publication? william did mention that there was a box of back issues somewhere in his home.
ME: sure
ME: should I tell her to send it to you....somehow?
whatisthesilence: no, no. i don't think that would be possible. but as long as she finds a way to track down this individual and talk to him, i'm sure she'll get somewhere.
whatisthesilence: or maybe you'll find a way to contact him, i'm not sure!
ME: hmm. that would be interesting indeed!

what exactly should I talk to him about?
whatisthesilence: well, it would be best to inquire about the article he wrote. i don't know much about the contents of it, other than that he claimed he was from the future and william thought he was mad.
ME: well, i suppose i won't have to worry about him thinking I'm crazy
whatisthesilence: ha ha! indeed.

 		Ahhh, so that's why our friend didn't respond when I IM'd him. Chattering up a storm about alternate universes and Nabokov. Smile Actually, sounds like something I'd end up talking about... though I'd probably drag in the topic of art... anyway, I'm going to stop myself from going off on a tangent right now! I don't think I'm actually capable of posting anything not on a tangent, urgh, 'm tired. Goddamn final examinations! They're over and you want to go off and party but they leave you exhausted for DAYS after they're finished, with an overdue art project hanging over your head.

 		The brain, Buri, is apparently named for Odin's grandfather (The first god).

"Vili" is an interesting entry. As are several others "Dagr" "Delling" etc.
Whether they are relevant, however is still a mystery.
