K folks here we are!!!!!!

Well...i'm new to this ARGing thang and this is only my 2nd post but, along wiv ILB2, this is the thread i have been following the most and i think i may have us a lead as far as who we need to speak to next. At the mo' it's half 1 in the morning here in the UK and so i'm not really 'with it' enough to look too much into what i'm about to say but i'm sure one of u guys will find it easy enough to make a connection.

We were pretty sure that Willian and Tristram were one and the same - but in different places so to speak - and now we've been told by tristram that we need to find out who it was william annoyed to get the sack when he wrote his atricle saying that said guy was a nut.

Weeeeeelllllllll...if we look here http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=14038&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=15 then we see that, in james blond's attempts to get info out of william as to whether or not this is ILB2, william mentions that he was aiming his article at a John Teeter or John Titor 'wannabee' who claimed to be from the future!!!!!!!!

I may be completely wrong but i'm pretty sure that if we can find out something about Mr. Teeter/Titor then we might be on our way as far as finding out how we bridge the gap between our world and tristram's.

BTW: great work Hy, i've read loads of threads and so i hope u get the gist when i say...well done MAN!!!!!!!!!!! Wink

edit: just thought i'd add that there is a site called www.johntitor.com but it's about a weird bloke who claims to be from the future. haven't checked source or anything but there was another site (forum) chatting bout it. who knows? not me, i'm watchin the rugby 7s quarter finals...come on England!!!)

edit2: effin 'ell i should be in BED! Well i checked what jenni said but from what i could make out the pictures, once put together, merely said 'silent'!!!

Ack! the Vidar page has updated with a bunch of links (which are individual letters) and they are fragments of a picture, or a word. I can't get the printer to work to figure it out!!! The suspense is killing me!

EDIT: Got it to work, printed, cutting and fitting together.

Yes, that's exactly what I got as well! (Glad to know I wasn't WAY off). It looks like there are five letters (STELT, which led to that crazy crazy website that I posted about), but then it looks like the grey letter could be an I or an L, and the T beside it could also be an L. So...STEILLT? Question

hmm...yah...due to the fact that I'm horrible at photoshop...mine was a little off...but simmilar (also due to the fact that I didn't actually find the "i" jpg untill a half hour of trying to solve it.).

Ok, just looked at stelt/steilt, and it looks like it must be steilt. So, long story short, I used my primitive knowledge of german to find out that steilt is actually a conjugation of the word steilen, meaning steep.

EDIT: Of course, I don't know where this leads at all, must look into it more...
