So..on three different pages, only selected letters are boldfaced. Here's what I've found so far...
http://irkshirechemicals.com/
Letters: zrwkkp
http://irkshirechemicals.com/IrkshireChemicalsNEWSITEM.html
Letters: aeacn
http://irkshirechemicals.com/IrkshireChemicalsABOUTUS.html
Letters: crkJlm
I vigenere'd the two six-letter "words" and got bigtvb , which probably means nothing, but gives me hope that there's another giveaway.

6 I also noticed that the whole website is set to language "en-gb" except the '6' in the copyright notice at the bottom of the pages which is in "en-us". ROT-6ing the bold letters, or the results of using the six letter strings as a one-time pad keys for each other yields nothing special.

So it looks like the code to crack is "zrwkkp crkJlm nbddod aeacn"
Although the images (and sometimes their alt text) may mean something too..

got this in an email from jack:
Quote:
What we have is that some of the pages are numbered in the source code. Four, to be exact. The others are not. We think that this has something to do with the numbers that are on the file names. There are also file names that start with the numbers 1_ - 5_. Since there are only 4 pages numbered then we have assumed that the four may not have anything to do with those 5.
Now, back to the file names again. There are several that are 6 digits long. The first two numbers repeat a lot. The next two, not so much. It's the last two that never repeat. We think that this is some sort of order. I'm not going to play stupid and say "what order" because it's obviously 1st to last.
There are also letters that are in bold. These letters correspond with the pages that are numbered in the source code. In other words, the pages that have some letters in bold that should not be are also the same pages that have a page number in the source code.
How this all comes together to form some sort of password or keyword or whatever word, I can't even begin to tell you.
I think that's all of the information that I have.

I downloaded the pages and opened them with dreamweaver to make it easier for me to look at the code. I found some additional images buried in the "sub-category" of About Us section. Some were very small and escaped my mouse movements until I looked for them in the code. I think this is a complete list, but read my comments below.
1_0813052003
2_2211210716
3_1518012319
4_1225042609
5_241402170610
--------------------
010104
010211
010316
010418
010503
010623
Clearly, there is a pattern here, with first 2 digits being common, the second 2 digits being sequential, and the last 2 digits being different.
--------------------
020105
020217
020312
020401
020502
020610
The same patter occurs here, first 2 same, next 2 sequential, last 2 different.
--------------------
030114
030222
030307
030419
030508
030621
And the pattern again.
--------------------
040120
040206
040309
040415
I missed 040206 and 040415 references in my search, so it's quite possible there is a 0405xx and 0406xx reference somewhere as well. I'll look again at the pages tomorrow.
--------------------
B40FE213-1A2C-4EA6-88F5-70168F8E64F5
E06F48F1-F1B7-4F19-A9F8-6E7517B79E6B
These two are unique. But I noticed something weird in the layout of the page. The E06F48F1-F1B7-4F19-A9F8-6E7517B79E6B refers to an image called E06F48F1-F1B7-4F19-A9F8-6E7517B79E6B.jpg but is not actually displayed on the page. It can be viewed by entering the address directly into your browser and reveals a photograph that does not show up on any of the pages. It's also MUCH larger than any other photo in on the site.
May not mean anything, except that it is a unique file name and similar to the B40FE213-1A2C-4EA6-88F5-70168F8E64F5.jpg filename so I suspect it's important.
--------------------
That's it from me. I'm a late comer to this fun, spent the whole night trying to catch up on the story, puzzles and sites. Hope this helps someone. Sorry I didn't have time to organize it the way Kender did, but it's almost 7 am here and I need sleep.

I found 040513. I could not find any 0406xx, but that stands to reason...because now we have a 23 letter code and 23 number strings to aid us...
Code:
02 04 01
02 05 02
01 05 03
01 01 04
02 01 05
04 02 06
03 03 07
03 05 08
04 03 09
02 06 10
01 02 11
02 03 12
04 05 13
03 01 14
04 04 15
01 03 16
02 02 17
01 04 18
03 04 19
04 01 20
03 06 21
03 02 22
01 06 23
(re-arranged to fit sequential order of final digits)

Also, I notice there is some code on the "News" page that does not appear on the page:
Quote:
//Clientside Functions for the Right Toolbar
function rpi_popup()
{ var goModId = document.forms.productform.RD.options[document.forms.productform.RD.selectedIndex].value;
if (goModId == "xxx"){
alert("Please select a country");
return false;
}else
return true;
}function alertpopup()
{ var goModId = document.forms.alertform.emailalert.options[document.forms.alertform.emailalert.selectedIndex].value;
if (goModId == "xxx"){
alert("Please choose an alert");
return false;
}else
return true;
}
</script>
there is no right toolbar, or is my browser being funky?

Following Lucy's idea...maybe thats a way to reorder the letters. 02-04-01 may mean that the 2nd page's 4th letter should really go first. After re-ordering that way, you get:
Jlkzcedoamrknncwrkdadbp
The capital letter ended up being first...that seems to fit nicely.
Just an idea.

The 1_xxx 2_xxx codes are the numbers 01-26.
Maybe the way to organise the alphabet?
hmetcvkugporawslydzixnbqfj
exchanging the letters you got with the ones from this gives Zpgsecrkmblgvvenlgrmrwj
so that's not quite it ..

Also worth noting: the two longer file names
Code:
B40FE213-1A2C-4EA6-88F5-70168F8E64F5
E06F48F1-F1B7-4F19-A9F8-6E7517B79E6B
include 23 letters ranging A to F

in source code, it says "the other photo holds the clue" as alt text for the main picture.
I don't know what other photo he's talking about, cepting maybe that humongous hidden one of Mr Irkshire
Anyone wanna try uncamoflagueing it? I don't have that installed presently and not sure I have enough room to install it just yet

it must be really invisible or I must not know how to see it cuz i don't see any picture encoded in except the one that shows on the page.
However, when I first looked at the page, probably minutes after you posted, that "clue" was not there at all; there wsa NOTHING unusual in the source code. Then I go and look again, to make sure, and woop-there it is. Now you say there's another picture mentioned in source code and I'm not seeing it at all. WHat's the link?
