I think speech can be extracted from walsh.mp3, but I don't have the right software.

Also, he cleaned up the morse code. Still reads the same, though

Sorry if this has already been brought up but if you search for Olivion on thesaurus.com:
http://thesaurus.reference.com/search?q=oblivion
You pretty much get every thing Walsh said in his journal, as if they copyed it.

Hiya,

I'm migrating over from another forum cos they banned me for playing ILB2 on there Smile
Anyone tried reversing needle.mp3 from D Walsh's journal ?

Funny coincidence #1 : test.html, the date is the day jimmy hoffa went missing
Funny coincidence #2 : the actor r. morrow playing a role in an episode of Fame...fame is the exact opposite of oblivion... Razz

a guy on another forum got a message :

Quote:
"Too many login attempts, security breach possible. Notifying Ornas

RMORROW
Lt Morrow
DWALSH"

So it's indeed not Onas, but Ornas, so R Morrow did indeed not hear the name corrctly as he states in his journal...so the C in his journal might not be a C at all, cos he doubts that too...

Looks like they switched to Apache from ISS, thus, breaking some files (like the login handler) and making them not work anymore.

I did a little google search for RMorrow. Turns out he was involved with the CIA investigating the kennedy assassination, and he's also on death row in texas. Rob Morrow is also an actor. Nothing too significant there.

As for the Key being in C, as someone mentioned earlier - is it possible that could be some kind of musical reference maybe? I don't know how that would fit in, and it's a pretty farfetched reference, but i dunno.

That blue thing - has anyone tried reversing the colours/contorting it, or maybe taking up the slightly blurred edges and straightening them out. Or even zooming very far in/out.

Random.

SECURITY HOLE! No, not a fake one, a real one. They allow ANYONE to look at the stats for the server. Look at them, just to let you know. This is not part of the game. http://www.ilovebees2.com/stats/

Again, this is not part of the game, it's for the who ever owns this server. It shows how many people have been to the site, what they did on the site and so on. Repeat, THIS IS NOT PART OF THE GAME!

It still seems like no one looked at this, it IS on the ILB2 site, but it's just not part of the game, if you own your own web-server, you would understand what the log files do. It's NOT part of the game, but it COULD solve the puzzle if the webmaster of ILB2 goes to a page you are not supposed to see.

The ILB2 web-master must be reading this or his/her logfiles (both say we looked at the stats). They worked yesterday, but now.... He/she password protected them.

He/she did not shut it down, they password protected the stats. But also, it appears they changed to Apache HTTPd from IIS today, thus breaking the login handler script (ASP and ASPX are fror IIS, PHP is for Apache and the login handler was written in ASP, they make ASP for Apache, however, I don't think he/she is using it.)
