I like the idea of the key of A C and E. Plus, he mentions "This symphony". I guess the answer we are looking for is the name of a symphony? Anybody know any good symphonies that have that key? I have tried entering schumann and schumannsymphony, etc. Nothing. I need more info, I think...

I'm just getting into this and I'd like to make sure I understand everything. Here's what I've gleaned so far: Renata is a floating island separated from us by some sort of aura that kills people who enter it. It's rled by a corporation called Immersion, which is run by three poeple, known as the "three eyes." Recently, a connection was established with the island through the internet, and Immersion has taken steps to keep the citizens away from the internet. They've created an intranet for the citizens to keep them from getting too curious about the internet. We've found a site made by a , Anissa, and from there a site made by her friend, Karin. There's also a forum, where many of us are masquerading as Renata citizens. Is that it so far?

Thinking about the musiccanbegoodforthesould thing, "This symphony is in the key of ACE" - I was thinking that i could be a key for a cipher. I've tried decrypting the message this way and it was jibberish, but if we can find the "symphony" then maybe we can decrypt it.

Also, thinking about it, the message says it was uploaded at Immersion south on 17th Feb, but in the Staff Forums, everyone from Immersion south was told to leave and be on unpaid holiday on the 12th Feb. I dont know if this is just because hes found a "safe place" and hacked into it. Just a little thing that struck me.

good work guys, I've been away for a couple of days for the PxC live event, I thought there'd be sthg in the URL but hadn't got it to work.

On the symphony I've a couple of thoughts, if it is Ace the word then linked to team lucia then possibly initials CAMS, except it would possibly be in order of play, and with any changes. I think it's more likely though that we need to find the actual symphony.

Also note he says "managed to upload ... having studied a map" the implication being there is a map which gives a clue to get into the system?

Finally I think we're assuming this is Jared, but it may not be, it could be anyone...

EDIT: Does everyone agree with the idea that we start new threads for updates to the sites, e.g. a thread for Karin's site, another for Anissa's etc? would be easier than posting in here?

This is just a shot in the dark with the symphony thing�BUT:

Prokofiev's Fiery Angel opera is about a woman named Renata who, as a girl, had visions of an angel and essentially falls in love with him. As an adult, she's completely obsessed with this angel and tries to find him in the men she's involved with.

Alright, so I know that this is an OPERA and not a SYMPHONY, but the Fiery Angel opera was sort of a bomb, it never got off the ground while Prokofiev was alive. Prokofiev synthesized the themes of the opera into a symphony: Symphony no. 3 in C minor.

I know it was suggested that we are looking for a symphony in A minor, but I thought there were important similarities, namely, the main character's name being Renata, as well as the similarities between the girl in the fiery angel story and Anissa's secret diary.

But as I said, I think it's a shot in the dark.

Yeah good call, there are some interesting similarities plot-wise. I don't know, I feel like we are making this way too complicated (myself included). Maybe not, who knows. The message is just so vague it's hard to know. And where the hell is Rico's address? Isn't it like 8:00 PM in terms of Renata forum time? I thought it was going to be in the afternoon? There hasn't been much activity on the boards at all this weekend, this speech better be good.
