ive been trying a little decryption

firstly, since the code 2 A O M N is in the key of ACE, which is the sixth note in the c maj scale, i ROT-6 'd it to give 2GUST. I then used that as a key to decrypt "Harmony" which gives "cuxuvis". This is not a url that i found.

Next, i tried decrypting Harmony, ROT-6 'd with 2GUST (2 A O M N ROT-6 'd), and got iadaboy. I dont know if this is coincidence but it says to me adaboy, i.e. you're on the right track.

Im trying a few other things now.

oh, btw, whats the link for aim chat again?

It's also the a-minor scale, isn't it? If the whole thing is in the key of ACE.

I'll try heading for the AIM room.

Also Very Happy Wow. We need to be precise...I'll try again.
IG we're told that Composer is just code. Would it matter if the ban is there etc. etc.
I don't think we'll see C2, Cn. As long as we PM, it should respond?

Okay, I'm confused Question . I keep seeing references to the Key of ACE. I have an extensive music theory background, but I think I must not be looking at it the same way as you guys. Can someone explain what the meaning of "Key of ACE" has?

I think I'm being thrown off because ACE is not a musical Key. Its a chord, A minor.
(EDIT)

Oh, I get it now.

He means the Key of A minor, he just had to go and get ARGy with the nomenclature and mix up those of us with formal training. Sorry, had a brain cramp trying to understand "Key of Chord" until I started thinking like a guitarist and not a composer.

Okay, A minor:
A B C D E F G

Chord Structure of A minor:
I Tonic - A Major (AC#E)
ii subtonic - B minor (BDF#)
iii mediant - C minor (CEbG)
IV Subdominant - D Major (DF#A)
V Dominant - E Major (EG#B)
vi submediant - F Major (FAC)
vii leading tone - G diminished (GBbDb)
VIII OCTAVE - A Major (AC#E)
(EDIT: I had A minor as the tonic, as opposed to A Major)

Not that that helps much, lol.

When was the "Key of ACE" clue given, and in relation to what?

BREAKING NEWS!!!!

A while back we were talking about bad words and got the phrase "Music can be good for the soul". However, nobody did anything. I though, well, the obvious thing is it to be a URL so
http://renata-isle.com/musiccanbegoodforthesoul
gives

I needed a recap, so I read the thread and found a few unsolved things so far:

Just in case Mr. Composer1 is none of us, which is not confirmed yet, there are some strange characters and numbers he has written down in his profile:

Well, Patrol pulled up this.
And the guy posting is Composer1
So I figured...

Code:
Composer1

3)

This came from Composer1?

Code:

This came from Composer1:

My symphony. I shall give another week. just one more

every second letter is the letter before the one shown, the others are just the same.

From Composer1:

Harmony
4 S A H U dfg
S M U R 3 egb
6 S E R W fac
0 5 O A U gbd
2 A O M N ace
3 L N C K bdf
P Y ceg

_____________

Deduction:
These are all the same code, written in defferent order and spacing. He is really trying to get us to focus on this code. I assume that the most recent version (Harmony) is meant to be a more obvious clue than the originals. We should consider the difference between them and how the most recent could supply us with more information to its solve than the first ones.

Also "every second letter is the letter before the one shown, the others are just the same." may be vital to the solve.

One version has no numbers in it, did that version come from the composer or was it an edit by a player?

Also, the words user and url occur in one version of the code, as does the word harmony.

It has been pointed out that the "Key of ACE" may refer to the line with the same triad in the most recent code.

Lets put on our thinking hats Wink
Thoughts? Ideas? Corrections?

Well google yielded the following on 2AOMN:
http://malys.org/appels_offre/img_appels/AO_415.2.pdf
AOMN n° 415.2

but I doubt it is related.

Update

Karin updated her page mentioning an interest in investigating the Al Khari and a bilboard of the Alimento outside of school. Would like to take a look at that. -

There is not long to go now. Less than a week until the windfall tournament, and i am seriously worried about my team.

I have never seen Curtis so sidetracked, Anissa seems to want everyone to win but us, and Nuno has pretty much disappeared.

Add to that the school dance is going to be the day after the final, so not long at all. I am really dreading it, but hopefully we won't get the dresses and i can just wear some jeans or something. Not that i don't want the village to be ok, just i really don't want to wear a dress.

The Al Khari interest is getting strange now. Someone is showing up on the forum spouting strange phrases about the cave of eye and generally being weird. I think Anissa got him banned, he wasnt making any sense.

Oh well. I thought he was saying Al Khari but it doesnt appear to be. I don't really have time to investigate, but i kind of want to, so I'll be looking into it when i get some free time. Perhaps one of the Al Khari guys will understand it all a bit better.

I havent seen any Alimento advertising lately either, except that billboard outside the school. I heard their opening got delayed a bit. Not that i care...

Anyway, time to practise. I hope Nuno shows up.

when she says it sounds like al khari but isnt, you think maybe its like the composers "i shall give you another week" code where we need to switch out every other letters or a similiar trick with the harmony code?
