Okay, I have another question. We know that Anissa received an email with half of a code. But what I haven't seen anywhere is who she got the email from... ??

Focused threads would be great. Keep in mind, as well, we have the wiki site. I don't think there have been any updates to it in a while (as far as overview, plot, etc goes - i.e. Rico's address never happened, etc).

I agree with some kind of focused thread or maybe better maintained wiki (might be easier). I'm kind of jumping all over the place to try to figure out where to look next and looking through 24 pages of stuff is really getting annoying... Smile

I'm on Aim.. "Dano551". I was hoping there would be some kind of think tank for people who are up late like me and wondering what the hell to do next.

I messaged trinity in an attempt to get some info. Also, when checking out that Methargo ARG i noticed someone posted something about C0 and C1 control codes. i doubt it has anything to do with the composer1 code (notice we sometimes call him C1?) but since were kind of stuff I thought why not. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/C0_and_C1_control_codes maybe we just arnt applying the right key to this code? how else could notes be used?

Okay, based on what Ethernull posted in terms of the Aminor chord, I'm thinking that the Composer code should be ordered like so:

(ACE) 2 A O M N
(BDF) 3 L N C K
(CEG) P Y
(DFA or dfg) 4 S A H U
(EGB) S M U R 3
(FAC) 6 S E R W
(GBD) 0 5 O A U

Which, if lined up would give:
2AOMN3LNCKPY 4SAHUSMUR36SERW05OAU

Which kind of makese sense since the 3LNCKPY line up together as in Composer1's profile. Problem I have now is I can't figure out how to decrypt. Tried Base64 and ROTing it (and doing both after switching back everyother letter) but no avail.

Closest I've come so far is using a Vignere decoder on 2AOMN with the key "ACE" and getting 2AMIN, which could make sense if the other sets decoded as nicely (tried using ace on all and also each triad - ace, egb, etc, on each set)....

I think more threads would be great: one for characters, one for events etc. I updated the wiki about a week ago and I noticed nobody has touched it since then. I would update it but it doesnt seem like anyone uses it much.

Okay, I've been looking at the Composer1 avatar now, too, to see if I can find anything that correlates to the symphony (although I'm not sure what that is at this point) or the Harmony code.

There are five colored Boxes on the top, 31 colored "dots" in the middles (14 on the first row, 4 on the second, 8 on the third and 5 on the last), and 5 colored boxes on the bottom. Unfortunately, there are 32 letters/numbers in the Harmony code, so I'm not sure the dots are related to that code.

I tried to arbitrarily assign a value to each color (1 for Green, 2 for orange/pink - whatever that is, and 3 for red) and see if that got me any where, and it didn't:

Top Boxes: 12332
1st Line: 32313323233313
2nd Line: 3213
3rd Line: 13233321
4th Line: 33311
Bottom Boxes: 11232

I tried a bunch of different things to see if I could get any kind of meaning out of this (using the top and bottom boxes to change the Harmony code), trying different combinations of letter substitution (i.e. 32313 - the first five dots on the 1st row could be CBCAC or CWAC or CWM, if my numbers are the right ones). Nothing has panned out, yet, but I may be overthinking as well.

Any thoughts??

I also noticed that there have been no IG renata-isle forum posts since Composer1 was banned last week (because we haven't cracked the code yet?).

She's typing up the book titled "Origins of the Eye" (it's the one mentioned on the notice board that the library wants it back).

It doesn't appear to me that the Notice Board is any different...

I thought the Composer code was split into 4's was because it was a 4 beat bar. So, a number, 4 beats, a number, 4 beats. Except the 05OAU line breakts that.

I tried - ROT(number at start) vignere with the triad as the key, except where the number was at the end, when I ROT'd after applying the key.

Nothing.

I'm the first to admit I'm not Code boy, but I'm at a loss. I mean - just with the ordering.
We can order A,B,C,D,E,F,G or 1,2,3,4,05,6 or HARMONY

Assuming we're in A-Minor, then a-g is the correct order...could the numbers then correspond to letters of the notes? So 2AOMN is actually BAOMN?

I've got an install reset on my machine, I'll give that a go and see what comes up
