can we email from our "world" accounts? Wouldn't that give away the fact athat we are from the world?

 		satellites are down right??
Just a random thought... on karins site in "the world" bit she says

"When Immersion made up the whole "world" theory, they also made up a "satellite" that blocks you from talking to us or interacting."

and if you log in as Christian to the renata forum page Ryan says in the satellie status topic

"As reported, both satellites have been disabled. Dias does not seem to see this as important, but surely our entire communications system has been compromised?"

do you think there is any way we can convince any of the characters that we are from the "world" and that the satellites are actually down??

Magillicutty. Welcome to the unforums Smile Yes you are right. They might see it as a proof for us living in the outside world, though I don't think it does matter. If you have a specified your name with your mail-address, the programme they use will view your name instead of your address. They can find out about your address, when they look into the source of your email, though i doubt again, that they will do such things. Finally it doesn't matter at all because they know about the Internet and they don't deny the internet. Just give it a try.

The other thing you can do is, send them a private message on the other forum.

Psyanide, yes i think so. Someone, probably one of the RIA-Members, has published the evilaura-page to Immersion's Intraweb. (By the way, there was a discussion about the abbreviation of this group on the other board yesterday. The group is called Renata against Immersaion, though the Immersion Labs site has a picture in their news section, where it says RIA).

What I wonder about more and more is, wether we are helping the RAI by helping Jared and Evan and did they both know about all that before they made contact with us. Were there any contacts with Jared or lifesigns by him in the past few days?

 		ok now ive been following this reasonably close but i must have missed the bit about evan and jared. where do they fit in?
might also be that im ofter very forgetful

Jared and Evan were on a tour through Europe. He, Jared, was the one, known as the composer, that made contact with us and told us some little bits about his current situation, about those strange eyes, the village and about Renata. The pre-game came to an end, when the first security lock was opened and Renata Isle started, when the second lock was opened and the security server was shut down by Jared with the help of us Argonauts.

[We have to add those things to the wiki. Does someone have the postings of Jared's Blog, which doesn't exist any more(because it is exchanged with another site)? That will make it easier to get the information of the pre-game and about Jared and Evan.]

Anissa has a secret diary on her intrawebsite. There she posted about a boy she met while she was on the road to the village. He did not speak to her, but he seemed to be in a hurry. This is, why some of us are speculating wether this was Evan or Jared or maybe someone else. Please keep in mind, that this is Anissa's secret. She did not tell anybody about that yet.

 		Didn't someone post somewhere a multi-protocol-IM-program-thingy? does it support AIM too? would be nice if I coud download it and get access to the chatroom, without having to download and register at AIM.

Edit: Oh, almost forgott to ask, how did ya'll do with the registration at the renata community? I mean, how did you do with the email registation which is required? Did you just used your normal emails?

You can use Trillian by Ceruleanstudios for Multi-IM-Chats or you take Miranda. Both work fine with multiple IM-Protocols. I myself prefer Miranda Wink

I used my googlemail-adress to register. If you don't want to use your usual address, you can sign up for a free Yahoo, Gmail, (GMX in Germany) or whatever account and use that address instead. That way you have one address, that you use only for ARGs.

Ok y'all. It seems that the Alimento is at it again. I emailed nis last night about her site and she responded:

Went to her website and lo and behold the Alimento had taken one of her squares which now reads:

i found something interesting. I was trying different keywords to plug into http://renata-isle.com/(keyword), all of them came up 404. Until I tried http://renata-isle.com/controlpanel.

This tried accessing something and hung and eventually came back with a time-out error. What is interesting is that the page returned had the url of http://renata-isle.com:2083. It looks like there is something on port 2083. Maybe an actual control panel?

I actually got something very different when I went to www.rentata-isle.com. I was brought to a login page for :2083. I tried Christian's login, but to no avail. There is also a link if you lost your password, you can have it reset and have a new one sent to you. Any ideas?
