Algebragraffiti? What is going on?! People should have noticed by now that card #69 Algebragraffiti has been solved by over 100 players. Many of which have solved only that card. I can find no reference to it anywhere. Do people know where this wave 3 card has appeared from?

'Apologies' from Mind Candy to people who didn't make it to the event on Saturday?

Short answer: We don't know yet.
Long answer: Um...possibly another Firebox "e-card" promo?
Even longer answer: Meh...it's really no biggie...calm down. It'll be in Wave 3, nobody is going to get any cards that cannot be obtained elsewhere in the long run. Chill.

EDIT: Go and buy the Sunday Telegraph...

Not an actual card - why don't you go buy a copy and see?
EDIT: There is also a puzzle for Violet's phone number which gives the same answer as the card "#27 Red - Bar None".
But this number now just asks for a four digit pin
EDIT 2: Ok thanks Juxta If you dial the correct number you get Violet's message.

Linkification to a bit more of a description.
...and Phant, I did that the first time - re-read the clue to the last number carefully It's the same number as on the original #027 "Bar None"

Well done to the first 250 people who solved the card, you win a free pack of puzzle cards (I was 242, 253 have now).

Why, oh why, oh why, oh why didn't I just stay at home reading the papers instead of going to the pub for lunch!
Not sure whether to , , or just
Can't believe I missed out on being in the top 250 but the flames look pretty cool - will look forward to sloving them!
p.s. If anyone is ever in Aberystwyth on a Sunday they could do a lot worse than visiting 'The Scholars' for an excellent roast dinner and maybe even stay until 8pm for the free pub quiz!
p.p.s. Hope someone from the pub reads this and gives me free drinks for the rest of eternity, or until someone solves Riemann...
