On a lark (and considering that in another thread someone mentioned their being five cow skulls on certain versions of AMD's 80486-DX4 microprocessor), I tried 80486DX4 as a key.

Resilt:

The decoded file for key '80486dx4' vaguely looks like a Can't stat `/home/root/pxc/80486dx4.txt' (No such file or directory). Unless this is text, or some graphic or sound file with a very short header, it's probably a red herring, but I thoguht it worth mentioning so you can do your own research (or ask for someone on the boards to do so). Thanks.

Could be worth checking out . . .

I believe chimera will be able to confirm this, but the key doesn't begin with a number or the letters A-G

thats if we're on the right track with the client...so maybe any key guesses can be in keeping with the unknown keyspece..otherwise we're doing the work twice-guessing and key crunching that is Wink

Mac is spot on - we are working out way throught the H starting keys at the moment, having completed 0-9 and A-G.

That leaves just the rest of H plus I-Z and a-z to go Smile

A big thank you to everyone who donated some cards. We have now got all of the first 3 waves - theres some in the post still to arrive - but thats the set completed. There have been some very generous players and I would like to thank them all.

I've idly wondered if it's a Hercules variant somehow. Guess we'll find out soon!

The decoded file for key 'H3rcu135' vaguely looks like a Netpbm PPM "rawbits" image data. Unless this is text, or some graphic or sound file with a very short header, it's probably a red herring, but I thoguht it worth mentioning so you can do your own research (or ask for someone on the boards to do so). Longhorn

I mentioned this in the other post of this name - the AMD thread mentions Longorn. Window Vista was codenamed Longhorn - is there any change the key is LONGHORN? I don't have any way of testing it (who does?)
