I had the chance to answer some questions for a news article about the show and game a couple days ago.
Enjoy

A newsletter was sent out today:
Quote:
Last season players tracked down the bioterrorist behind the Miranda virus and broke inside NorBAC to run an experiment that went horribly wrong. This year, the ReGenesis Extended Reality game returns bigger and better - with over an hour of exclusive interactive footage, new websites and clues in the series that make you an investigator in the story.
As the new season starts next sunday, both main websites have been updated.
www.norbac.ca
www.regenesistv.com
Registrations are open and i'm very happy to report that their automated calling system is up and running
The NORBAC site currently featuring a nice little investigative simulation, with the prospect of more interactive goodies.
Happy hunting,

As was the case from last year, I have ordered the Movie Network for this show alone. I will do my best to play along.
I set up a dedicated chat space at chat-sol. #norbac is the room name. You can (after I code it in a few seconds) access it through the ARGN Java chat interface.

If you go to www.norbac.ca right now, the word "what" appears in the top left hand corner.
Code:
what<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en" lang="en">
<head>
<title>NorBAC</title>
</head>

Right so,
The show was on last night. It seemed like there were a couple puzzles hidden within it.
For one thing, David signed into his computer from China using a large number which I think we should probably get (I'll be able to sometime later today). It zoomed in real close for a second, which is making me think it was probably important.
For another, I found the website http://www.biobeijing.com/ from last nights episode.
On another note, although it was mentioned on the show, Sciencesucks seems to be password protected. norbac.ca seems to be up and running, with a field agent code being required to go into the intranet.
Oh, and there's a nice throwback to season 1 under the "investigations" section.
edit: Aaaaand, I found on another site this website link: http://www.norbac.ca/ock/ which seems to have all the important documents and videos from season 1. OK, i'm done.

Just curious - are the numbers "00897-602" and the chinese characters on the main reGenesis site important, or is it just a leftover from season 1. I didn't really play the first season, and haven't yet got my Movie Network subscription up and running yet (should be good by next weeks episode).
Oh, and for some reason the sciencesucks.com site appears to be password protected now (if it was always like this, I apologise for bringing it up, trout me if you will ).

That'd be from the phone message you get when you sign up. I dunno if anyone has a transcript/mp3 of said message. I answered the phone, not expecting it to be ARG related, so I didn't manage to save the call. Caller ID was blocked, so no return number.

Wow, well done! If I recall correctly, the beginning of the first season found sciencesucks password protected as well. We had to solve some stuff to be given the login and password.
Edit: the site wasn't pass protected, the miranda virus forum was.

ticker at norbac.ca The news ticker along the bottom of the page on norbac.ca begins with the following statements:
"If you are reading this now it means that I'm dead.
I have set up an archive of my progress online for you.
Seek out my friends who helped me hack into norbac.
Please find out what happened in memory of me."
So Agent Ock is dead then?
I'm assuming the archive is the norbac.ca/ock/ that luke found. "Seek out my friends who helped me hack into norbac." I'm guessing that means sciencesucks.com.
Love to, but how do we get a login and pass? Do we use what worked last year?
