Darn, I guess we'll be waiting a little bit then. Oh, by the way, has anybody taken a look at http://www.webcomicsnation.com/newfiction/ctw/toc.php? I'm guessing so, but I haven't seen anybody link to it yet, but anyways, it has a better image of the bug/beetle on the Chapter 1 cover.

Ah, that explains it. Thanks WS.

The only email I've gotten from Dale is the original welcoem e-mail when I registered.. and that wasn't encoded or anything. I think someone *points up* needs to POST things he's talking about.

Do you mean one similar to what I got here. All it concerned was pre-ordering the comic.

If you could post the content of the e-mail you received we can help decode it.

Sorry - I didn't mean to confuse anyone. I am relatively new to ARGs & I have learned alot from reading this forum so far. I didn't mean to be so vague with my first post here.

So, let's see if i can use the wonderful tools offered here Smile

Quote:
Thanks for registering to receive news, information, and special offers about my comic book series, Chasing The Wish. The first issue of the comic book will be released shortly and you'll start getting messages from me with more information even sooner. So hold on, it's going to be quite a ride.

Dale Sprague

This is the email I was referring to. I later learned (by reading more & more, here & other places) that Outlook Express offers a ROT13 unscramble tool automatically. I have never seen that before, so I thought it was unique to this email.

Thank you for your kind instruction Dionysus. Please forgive my blunder.

edit for minor typo

That was Rot-13ed for you? I don't use Outlook.. just Gmail and it came through in regular old text. Weird

Wow...I've used Outlook Express for years and never noticed the ROT-13 feature. Upon further research though it looks like it only works on news group messages, not emails.

I didn't get my package today Sad but my thought on the number on the back of the ticket is that Dave has never given info to players that wasn't meant to be shared with everyone. That is the beauty of his games. We have to work collectively.

I split out the posts about "the package". Sorry i didn't mention that here. This topic does say "updates on the websites". The new topic says "merchandise". Carry on.
