Easy ARG's to start with

I searched for similar topics and I was surprised there weren't any (At least I didn't found any).
After I saw AI for the first time I barely remembered some internet game which included some boring sites and stuff. Of course, I read about that game in a KIDS MAGAZINE, being a 8 YEARS OLD KID.
After seeing the movie I just HAD to play the game.
What a shame it was when I discovered the game ended 3 years before visiting it for the second time. It was preety much like knowing what I missed was THE GREATEST ARG EVER.
After doing some searching, I landed here, and I want to know: Is there any easy active ARG to get known with to the ARG's world?

Thanks!

EDIT - moved from "ARGs with Potential" to "General Meta Discussion" - SG, 2/27/06

I suggest a Arrow (move) of this topic. But, as for an answer:

If you're looking to get involved in ARGs, i suggest reading Imbri's starting guide and the ARG Player Tutorial. Then, take a look around! I personally like Who is benjamin Stove, because it has a blog that would make it easy for you to catch up, but take you're pic. Hope you enjoy your time!

I HAD read the tutorial.
I'm just looking for something easy to figure out, or at least something that don't requiers using more then my internet (International calls and mail? please!).
Isn't there anything new coming soon?

Thank you very much!

No ARG game REQUIRES you to make phone calls. Nor do any PMs expect you to make international calls to them. Orbital Colony placed calls to people, Chippy (who called me internationally) did it on his own and I really wish he had at least said hello to me before he hung up. Very Happy But we were NOT asking players to call us. Last Call Poker did not ask players to call them.

Nor does any game require that you give your phone number, it is just another way to draw you into our world.

Any of the games in the ARGs with Potential have recently started, and there are others just getting noticed in the "News and Rumors" section.

I also suggest visiting ARGN to get a list of games currently up and running. You can find direct links some games in the "What's Hot" section, and you can look through the archives to find articles on the games to see if they might be for you.

IRC can also be a good place to get information on games that might be more to your individual liking. Many of the games also have their own IRC channels where players are willing to give help and advice to newcomers to specific games.
