in my further probing of who is who and when i emailed Agent Sueno 2693
Quote:
It appears that Silas has become a recursive man, and Freeman is some sort of future version of himself. He appears to be trying to stop his
past self from committing crimes to avoid his already-completed time
in jail, but that won't help him. Everything in its time refers to
Justice too.

Do I seem that much like a criminal? No, I'm just a guy who got
through his time at the academy! You know how hard it is to get a job
after they perfect cloning? I just took what I got. Plus, justice
seemed like easy work at the time.
Freeman seems to think I've done something, but honest, I haven't done
anything but go through academy and then get thrown into this mess!
I'm just making it through by the skin of my teeth. I really am not
trained for all of this. I was supposed to have support from HQ, but
I can't reach them anymore...

cloning eh? maybe thats why they look alike?

After an incarceration of one hundred years, I believe that I can
safely say that the
answer is yes, at least for me.
As to whether or not I disappear, I suppose I'll find that out if I
get my lunkheaded
younger self out of jail. Incarceration is just another way of not
existing for a time,
so it will all be the same to me.
I would not mind a bit of time spent as a space monkey, however.

and would this give us access to which files?

See the IG board. Kudos to Six and Varin for finding "Princip"

In the classified archives, there is a text saying about Silas Mc Guffin:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
From: Director Anderson
To: Agent Sueno 2698
Relative Time: Era 0: 7/4/2699 16:00
Calm down. Calm down. I have a plan.
Silas McGuffin. Break him out and make sure he gets to a time machine.
Then trash the computers. We'll blame it all on him, and by the time they get HQ running again we will have everything cleaned up. Break the time machine, too. I want the Chronal currents to swallow him. He must not tell his story to anyone! Do it right, because if he survives we won't be able to track him down until after HQ's computers are back online.
So, Could we say this to Freeman, in the possibility that he can stop all of this?

on the same page there is also a mention of sueno 2698 arresting silas on April 1st, 1984. which incidentally is the date when sueno 2693 detected a chronal storm.
except that now i'm confused by all the chronology of time travel :/
the silas arrested in 1984, is that the freeman who spent a century in time prison?
(edit: why. yes it has to be. and even though sueno is a rank, we have a recursive sueno here too. sorry i'm slow!)

I just found this game today and I love it. The audio files are hilarious. The posts from the characters Sueno and Freeman are also very funny. I'm sorry I found it so late and I wish it was going to last longer.
This is really a very fresh and innovative ARG in my opinion. And its funny. It reminds me of Firesign Theater.
Sixsidedsquare's summary is great by the way but you have to read the forum posts by the ingame characters to understand what this game is about. Its interactive theater.

Any ARGers/Gamers Near Bloomington Indiana Free on April 1st It appears our endgame will be a live event and we need someone to:
1) Collect the evidence from a locker at the festival .
2) Help in creating a distraction to assist the evidence collector(s) (Actually, it looks like there will be three scheduled meets for the pick-up.).
It looks like a great time even without the end of game occurring. Here's a rundown of the categories for which judging
will
occurred:
(I assume our mini-ARG will be judged under the "Game" category.)
Sound With Eyes Open (computer music and interactivity with visuals)
Game (a game realized in any digital medium)
Immersive VR environment (CAVE, VRML, real-time 3D)
Animated Gesture (short piece of 2D or 3-D animation)
Digital Narrative (video or animation)
Levels, Mods, and Machinima (projects that extend commercial game software)
Locative Media and Mobile Device Applications (mobile media projects)
Creative Robotics (creative works with digital machines)
So, for what looks like a great time, head on out there , if you're able
and cast your vote for this game
. It has been a really fun time.
Oh... And I call first dibs on any extra swag.

I'm actually going to be at the ideasfest. I'll admit I've been so busy lately that I've fallen a bit behind in this game. I'd be happy to collect the evidence if no one else is going to make the trip. (I wouldn't want to take away the experience from someone who actually followed the game all the way through)

Thanks, varin.
I see you joined the IG boards.
If agent_sueno should give you any specific instructions, please post them here so you can maybe set-up a meet with the other players. I'm sure there'll be some "locals" helping with the diversion. If the endgame is anything like the game, things will work themselves out no matter how little you've followed along. It's been very... accommodating.

Just clearing up a couple things: The IDEASfest ARG was put on in conjunction with IDEASfest, so it's not an exhibit though it will have a presence (as you've noticed.) Secondly, while the entry process was juried, the event itself will not be.
However, Orbital Colony will be an exhibit (Hi Varin!) , so anyone in range should come see them.
