OK, enough whining from me... now for something constructive.

I think we should learn more about those papers... perhaps Scyne knows the dive site of Jason and Trent's last dive... like a name or general location. If it was a known shipwreck or something they found themselves. Also, he could tell us a bit more about the whole treasure diving thing... does he know who they work with (museum, university, research institue, government, etc). Anyone with access to Scyne could you please pursue this line of thought? I have a feeling (more like hope) that this ARG is deeper than it seems right now but we're not asking the right questions / pursuing the right leads.

I really think Keymaker wants us to procure the papers for him and is only pretending to already have them in order to acquire them (since he has no physical presence, he needs someone to scan them and post them online somewhere), but if we know more about them and can somehow acquire them before they are posted, we'll have the upper hand in dealing with Keymaker.

And as for the characters mentioning the forums, it can work, though it's not a good idea. There's something that one of the admins posted about this, but I can't seem to find it...

Also, I don't know what you mean when you say that Scyne is acting OOG, because that's really the point of all ARG characters, they're trying to be OOG. And I think it's pretty obvious that Jason, Scyne, Trent, the Keymaster and any other characters that are part of this are IG.

Hmmm...just a question out to everyone...has anyone been trying to e-mail Keymaker these last few days?? I've only just tried now (because I thought I read on a post that his e-mail address wasn't really working properly)...I'll see if anything happens...

*EDIT1* In Keymaker's recording he says to be the first to email him the Key on 318579245323467583 along with your shipping address for the papers...maybe he just means to e-mail him the key picture on Key.txt.

It's really, really, hard to understand keymaker. I hope you guys can make out more of this call than I can. One part in particular caught my ear...but I'm not sure if I'm hearing it right.

"There's a lot of great games going on there. I wonder, wonder, wonder if the world I created..."

I can't make out the ending of that statement, but...is he saying he's running another ARG that's being played here? Could he be referring to the Pirate Shrubbery?

My reasoning the whole time has been, what are the chances of not one, but two pirate ARGs starting within a month of each other? Sure, it could be just a coincidence, but... Confused

i sent the keymaker the link and my snail mail addy-- i own a very large male dog who is sooooo very protective. i'm not worried. Shocked

i panicked right after i sent it.. thinking.. should we be sending him the key? -- could it be a trap? (sigh) oh well, at least we'll be moving forward-- even if it is a trap. Cool
