No shame in being a new player. Just realize that you may be handed a TROUT (a term of endearment that is a polite way of saying, 'here is where we discussed it before my friend') There may be a lot if infomation on the 4 or 5 threads for this game, but you can find out a lot of the ground that has already been covered. As we haven't had any new clues to follow over the last 2 weeks, you have plently of time to get caught up.

*an aside to the Mods, when do we mark this one as imploded?

If nothing happens Sunday night, I think it would be safe to say this game has imploded.

Here's the conversation I had with Scyne Sunday night.
Quote:
Scyne: Jason heard from Trent
MG: What did he say?
Scyne: Hang on I'll tell you in a minute
Scyne: Trent said he's pissed Jason told about the pirate papers It was their secret Keymaker was helping in his own creepy way I can't get in touch with Jason now
MG: Well, I guess he no longer needs our help then, huh?
Scyne: This might be the climax to all of this....I'll keep you all informed
Scyne: no....something might have happened to him Trent is a scary guy
MG: What exactly then is Keymaker helping to do? OK, I'm confused. If Keymaker is helping, Trent is dangerous, then who is The Revolution?
MG:I'm going to have a hard time convincing the team to continue aiding in this endeavor unless some things are made more clear.
Scyne: I don't know who this Revolution guy is, but I can say
Trent knows something about those papers. Jason had some......

Scyne: I'm going to try.....I'm going to find them
MG: What did Jason have?
Scyne: If Trent HURT Jason...I'll kill him
MG: Can't you call Trent? Does Jason have any family you can
contact?
Scyne: Hang on, I'm trying again They're up north
MG: Any luck? Have you heard from the Keymaker? I keep checking
Skype, but to no avail. And alas, he's made no phone calls or sent any emails, to
anyone.
Scyne: Sorry getting bombarded by people
MG: Oh well. I'm going to bed. I guess there's nothing new to report. Let us know if you need more help in the future. Perhaps we'll be available.

It took almost 2 hours just to chat this long with him. He took forever to answer each time. I just got tired of waiting and feeling jerked around.

I waited a while them signed off. I felt like he was just, as JD put it, "grasping at straws."

I vote with the aforemention implosion at this point. I'm frustrated. Bang Head

Here is my advice to the PM: either improve your game, or end it. Rolling Eyes

It's so funny, I was only lurking and I seem to be the only one still playing watching

I'm not really waiting, though. If they want to start the game again, cool, I'll keep watching, if they don't, shame. I think this game does (did?) have potential.

It ain't over till the trent sings

Then can we get a consensus to move the hyp3r threads to the archives? They wont go away and you can still add things to it. IF the game becomes more active (read: something more than conversations hinting at physical objects that never materialize) then someone can ask the mods to move it back into News and Rumor.

Ok, that sounds fair, but why not wait at least until Scyne has his radio show this sunday, make it their last chance

Actualy I would like to say that we all know that this experiment should be laid to rest.

Hyp3r is over.... but the story is not.

Shadowknight Entertainment Would like to thank all of you for sticking with us for so long.

Your tenacity has led to some fun experiances.

The were a lot of ups and downs but in the end, it was worth it.

The next lay3r will be even better than before.

You see, we are not indie anymore.

Join us soon for a special broadcast and please call into keymaker's phone to leave your final thoughts on the game.

I'll play them along with more of my mindless techno.

Thanks again for playing and we will see you in little over a month!

I'd really like to pretend that I don't care that this imploded…but I actually feel personally insulted by this implosion. I don't think I need to explain to the PMs why. But I think that I was owed a little more than a triumphant sounding implosion notification on the main thread. I rooted for this game when a lot of people were calling for implosion weeks ago. I rallied to get people to stick with it. Maybe I shouldn't have done that, maybe I should have stood back and watched this game implode oh so many weeks ago. But I was under the impression that it would be worth it. And now in the end, it was not worth it for me. For all I feel I have done for this game, I'm insulted that it ended this way.

If you have no respect for me as a player, Keith, I'm NOT going to be seeing you in little over a month.

And where the hell are my damn pirate papers?
