FWIW, Oceanic Archaeology is the study of prehistorical objects and sites that are underwater because of changes in climate and geology. So this guy is likely a diver.

The yes page says to come back when he has visited the sleeping twins.

The Sleeping Twins is an oil painting by the artist Odd Nerdrum (or Kitsch, can't really tell here http://www.nerdrum.com/works/index.php?id=18).

And then this Jason guy just posted this in his blog:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Ok.... somebody's screwing with me.... Keith was in the room with me when he called.... that guy is not right....

Whent to the docks.... I might look at some art too.....

Just had a chat with Scyne:

Quote:
<CrustyBottom> Do you know someone who goes by the name "Hunter" in here?
<Captain_Scyne> Yeah....
<Captain_Scyne> Jason....

<CrustyBottom> What about a Trent?
<Captain_Scyne> No.... I know him by name only...
<CrustyBottom> through Jason?
<Captain_Scyne> yeah
<CrustyBottom> Someone has posted a web-site about knowing things that Trent will not tell us.
<CrustyBottom> Do you know anything about that?
<Captain_Scyne> Yeah.... I found out here.... he (KeyMaker) kept coming here and spamming it
<Captain_Scyne> I was going to get him banned but... He just stoped showing up......

<CrustyBottom> okay. So no problems that you heard about, between Jason/Trent/other person?
<CrustyBottom> I don't know how close you are to Jason, that's why I'm asking.
<Captain_Scyne> Nah... He did seem a little reserved today....
<CrustyBottom> didn't mention anything out of ordinary did he?
<Captain_Scyne> That he's not the only one beeing harassed by him
<Captain_Scyne> Keymaker

<CrustyBottom> Well, I have a feeling that Jason knows who the Keymaker person is.
<CrustyBottom> I just don't know how.
<Captain_Scyne> We went out for a walk a little while ago...
<Captain_Scyne> he just left

<CrustyBottom> You know his that well?
<Captain_Scyne> Yeah
<CrustyBottom> Was there a purpose for the walk?
<Captain_Scyne> Jason's a high scholl buddy
<Captain_Scyne> um... he likes to look at the art

<CrustyBottom> Any particular kind?
<Captain_Scyne> there is sooo much in downtown
<Captain_Scyne> sculptures

<CrustyBottom> Downtown where? I am unfamiliar with where you are all from.
<Captain_Scyne> Fort Myers, Fl
<Captain_Scyne> It's not that great

<CrustyBottom> okay. So that was the purpose for the walk? To look at art? Or did Jason have something on his mind?
<Captain_Scyne> he likes it, though
<Captain_Scyne> Funny thing is..... he did not talk much
<Captain_Scyne> just.... watched

<CrustyBottom> so he looked "distant"?
<Captain_Scyne> yeah
<Captain_Scyne> like he was thinking
<Captain_Scyne> It's odd
<Captain_Scyne> we had McD, and he just ate
<Captain_Scyne> "number 2 large..." paid and then just sat down...

<CrustyBottom> Heh, I forgot that they changed their sizes because of that movie.
<Captain_Scyne> heh yeah
<CrustyBottom> You didn't ask him what was wrong?
<CrustyBottom> Being close I would think that he would tell you something.
<Captain_Scyne> I tried.... just said "Nothin..."
<Captain_Scyne> I did not want to push him..... he's very...... well spacy to begin with....

<CrustyBottom> spacy?
<Captain_Scyne> spacey
<Captain_Scyne> k
<Captain_Scyne> later man

<CrustyBottom> c-ya.

Sorry, didn't ask about the "twins" painting. I love when I forget to mention things during a chat.

Succes! I found the ket to the next level!

New Blog entry (emphasis mine)

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
"This day has been crazy.... That keymaker guy has not called yet... That's a good thing....

Well normally art gets my mind off things but...... Well I went to Lux and to my surprise, there was construction everywhere! They are re-paving the road with bricks.... Yeah that's a totally necessary usage of tax-payer money.....

The thing I'm really griping about is that the lights where out at the Federal Building, which means no lights....No Lux..... It was so dark there I could not tell which column was which....

Oh well... Maybe they can turn them back on soon....."

So I tried to find out what Lux was, but it is too general. So I just tried /lux on the main site, and viola!

http://www.hyp3rn3xus.com/lux/

Haven't looked at it too closely yet... but the main clue is

"HE filled one with plants. Tell me who said the other and get the next key"

*EDITED because I was two minutes late getting the answer up*

Now, the picture of a code called "Krypto"-something or other that was put up by an artist named Jim Sanborn.

The page, as you will see, says "HE filled one with plants. Tell me who said the other and get the next key".

Now, I have spent that past couple of hours trying to find what "HE" (who I take to mean Mr. Sanborn) filled with plants. I am assuming that it is one of those columns that is pictured, but that's just an assumption. I have nothing really to go on other then that.

I've googled so many options and read so much stuff about Jim Sanborn that my head is spinning. So, I need to lay down for awhile in order to clear my mind. Hopefully someone will have this cracked by the time I wake up. If not? Well, it looks like I'll be spending countless hours searching the web again for what on earth Mr. Sanborn filled with plants.

I think the place is the US Court House and Federal Building, located at 2110 First Street, Ft Myers. Jason has a new pic of himself in front of it on the blog... it is the same building as this new picture. THe planters are there but they are not lit up. We need to find out more about this art exhibition. Also, it appears that Scyne is the one taking the pictures, since he and jason went walking together.

Correction: It is the Old Post Office. The light artwork is "Caloosahatchee Manuscripts (aka Lux)" by Jim Sanborn... text in english and creek indian. Haven't found a transcript of the text yet.

This refers to the 2 drums... here's some background on them

Quote:
While creating his art, Sanborn incorporated passages from local history. Gracing one of the drums is a partial list of the plants used by Thomas Edison in his quest to produce a domestic source of rubber. The other contains a migration story of Native Americans into the lower Southeast as told by a Maskoki (Creek) Indian leader, Tchikilli, to James Oglethorpe, the founder of the Georgia colony. Tchikilli's people were among the ancestors of Florida tribes — the Seminole, the Miccosukee and the Creek.

Already tried Tchikilli. Doesn't work.

So "Who Said The Other" could relate to what's on the second drum, on to another work by Sanborn... and this one jumps out:

Quote:
On the other hand, viewers of another Jim Sanborn sculpture, "Kryptos" (Greek for hidden), outside the CIA headquarters in Langley, Va., are left in the dark.

With no plaque to explain what its indecipherable combination of letters means, it has stumped professional and amateur cryptographers since its installation in 1990. At the dedication, the sculpture was presented to CIA employees as a challenge, which they haven't yet met. It's a four-part sculpture, three of which code breakers have deciphered. The fourth is elusive.

Very apropos, don't you think? It sounds like ARGn's cup of tea.

Actually, it does.

Persue (sic)... it's such a downer when I see spelling errors in games like this. I like to think the PM is this genius who will takes us for the ride of our lives, but spelling errors bring up the ghost of a snotty kid with too much time on his hands.

Did anyone see that there was another website listed on http://www.hyp3rn3xus.com/lux/?

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
http://www.hyp3rn3xus.com/lux/time

funky clock with hands pointing at about 1, 4, 7 and 11 next to a moon

And the Tchikilli page says "The call is comming[sic]. Will he answer?"

So....Jason will be getting a call sometime tonight? Shall we try to contact him and tell him to pick up the phone? at least we can try to narrow down the times.

Good find. How did you find it?

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
In any case, it is not a funky clock... it is a sun and a moon, with a red X crossing out the sun... meaning that the call will probably come at nigh, and not during the day.
