No problem man... seems like you and I are plating one on one! Anyway, in the blog, Jason says he hasn't heard from Trent since they found those weird papers... Sofar this game is about finding out what Trent knows, and I think those papers are key. If someone chats again with Jason, be sure to ask. Someone could also post a reply in the blog about it.

When I talked with Jason, he said the papers were some notes from a Pirate that they'd found on a dive. He was going to ask "Keith" to scan them and then he'd send them to me....but i haven't gotten anything yet.

I believe that the /time page is connected to the quote "Night or Day? Will they Play?", which is also located in the /lux source code. I am sort of getting the feeling that the picture means that whatever will happen will not happen during the day.

This looks interesting. I think I'll play. One thing I found is that Maskoki(the title of the current page) is the name of the Creek Indian language. Not sure what that has to do with anything though. Also, whose dreams did Jason settle for?

Oops. My brain tends to skip over quote boxes and only read the stuff around it. Also, the question was more of a discussion topic than anything, trying to get to the heart of the matter. If people focus too much on the source code, they may miss the more obvious info.

attached to the email was a picture that the keymaker had taken of Jason...it looks like the same picture on Jason's blog.

I told Jason to pick up the phone if it rings and to play along with the guy.

ive been watching this and it sounds pretty interesting. i noticed on the drawing on the /time page, the night half looks alot like the islamic flag.

I will not disagree with what you have said, Nola. However, I can not agree with it either.

A couple of points to be made:

1) Jason/Hunter met with JamesBlond in the YarRadio chat room.
2) Jason knows one of the YarRadio DJ's (Scyne)

My "feeling" is that the PM is someone who simply enjoys such games as MMORPG's (probably tests POBS), is probably a friend of Scynes' in real life (since they both live in Ft. Myers, Florida) and simply asked Scyne if he could use the boards and chat room.

One thing that I have still not figured out is what is IG and what is OOG, concerning the boards and the chat room. Just because a character visits a chat room doesn't mean that the chat room is IG. Maybe it is considered IG only when the character is in the room, but other then that? I dunno.

The chat room for the radio station has only been around since Feb. 1st, 2006. So this may have been planned, it may have not.

I make the chat room start date point for a reason. The PM didn't post about the game in this forum until recently. Add that with the fact that most of the people in the radio station chat room are considered "regulars" and you end up with something that would go against the point of a "viral" compaign (to draw people to a place asap - not a month later), in my opinion.

Yes, I'm also having trouble discerning whether the forum is IG or OOG. I mean, it's clear that the forum itself is OOG because there are plenty of unrelated posts in it... but my question is if Jason (Hunter) is posting In Character, meaning other IG characters may exist within the forum, or if, as you propose, he simply used it because it was convenient (not Jason but the PM behind Jason). In other words, should we start "spamming" that board for hints? Perhaps they know about Trent...
