In regard to this I was looking at the futures out of curiosity and the "and remember" bit says a drunkard will tell you the truth.

Is there a link to Joseph Martin Surtees in the missing persons section of the PXCPD website?

Time will tell.

It is a kinda tacked on the end of the futures isnt it? Not really associated with any of the signs...
Too much of a coincidence not be really to do with Surtees eh? Maybe he saw something?

Time to start hacking I think! Very Happy Rolling Eyes

Cymbalisty/Diary

I guess now the police investigation is concluded, they will have returned the (possibly compromised) diary to the library. Do we neet to ask Violet to get her hands on it?

Btw, the Sentinel seems to now carry a 'Letter of the Week' feature, for which my letter was picked Very Happy

Oh, and I get 5 points on the leaderboard - if that's not motivation for those with 6900+ points I don't know what is.

After all we went through to get access to it I feel we should see the last page(s)!?

Futures look to have been updated...
Quote:
Futures
By Madame Bianca, for the week of February 27
The Baby (February 11 - March 10)
The scent of desperation hangs heavy around you. Don't think they won't notice, it's really impossible to miss, dumpling. You won't be getting what you want until you don't seem to want it so very badly.

The Eagle (March 11 - April 10)
Did you know that the fabled composer Katerina Goodenough was never recognised during her lifetime? She worked as a baker's assistant her whole life, and her work only came to light after her death. It's nothing to do with you, I just though it was interesting.

The Spider (April 11 - May 10)
A happy surprise awaits you, and what's better, you don't even have to work for it. I'm f course not telling what it is, since it would ruin the surprise. Just sit back and let the universe bring fortune to you, you lucky scamp.

The Wave (May 11 - June 10)
This is the one week out of the entire year that it's crucial for you to avoid speaking on the record to a representative for the government. No matter how important or favourable it may seem at the time, nothing good can possibly come of it. Reschedule, sunshine.

The Archer (June 11 - July 10)
Oh, honey, aren't you tired of the drama yet? Everybody else is, especially when we all know nothing is even half so interesting as you're painting it. And a special tip for you: things might seem a little less pressing if you'd just take a step back to gain some perspective.

The Half-filled Jug (July 11 - August 10)
Nothing you do can possibly make this week work out for you. Ill luck will dog you like wet in the sea. You might be tempted to try to take an impromptu holiday to mitigate the damage, but trust me, that will only make it worse. Just grit your teeth and march onward.

The Dragon (August 11 - September 10)
You love a scandal, don't deny it, and whoo is there a whopper of a scandal about to unfold before you. I know usually it's against your policy to get involved. This time, though, maybe you should exert yourself to make everything a little less messy. There may be compensation later.

The Three Balls (September 11 - October 10)
Yeah, for you? I've got nothing. Nothing interesting, anyway. Although you should probably be avoiding hot liquids for a while.

The Dice (October 11 - November 10)
This is it, pumpkin. This is the week you've been waiting for. Hate to tell you, but it's not going to be anything like you thought. By the time next Monday rolls around, you're going to be asking everyone what the big deal was.

The Maze (November 11 - December 10)
Seek out salty, crunchy foods and blue environs this week. Under no circumstances should you commit your thoughts to writing. This is a good week to create puppets to donate to the schools out of all of those lonely singleton socks of yours.

The Apple-Thief (December 11 - January 10)
Long in thy shackles, liberty I ask not from these walls, but thee; left for awhile another's bride, to fancy all the world beside.

The Hand (January 11 - February 10)
The winter hasn't been kind to you, muffin, and you haven't been kind to yourself, either. Lay off the pastries and sweets for this week, and no cheating. I promise you'll find a new spring in your step by the weekend.

And remember, however sharp the mind, you still need hands to build.

There is a change to the text on the article about PCAG to include the 6th member of the winning team and the link from the picture has been corrected. This may mean that the incorrect Futures postage was just an OOG error on the part of MC but then there is nothing under the Corrections section about this, yet then do say about the missing team member for the Puzzle Monkeys??

They aren't new. Check last week's sentinel. The crunchy food and blue environs rang a bell.

Another poetic moment...

The Apple Thief future is once again a quotation, this time from Richard Lovelace ("To Lucasta, From Prison")
