Yes to a certain extent..but I feel its more than answering forum questions and dealing with player enquiries....it's about being an ambassador for Perplex City.
You can't deny how much this experience has grown in the last six months...player number are on the rise (look how many joined after the Sunday Telegraph spread) and many people new to ARG's are going to join. They are going to need support as they catch-up with the developments of the last year.
Whoever gets this position is going to be a link between the players and the puppetmasters...a goto for both sides.

I hardly think that what I do around here qualifies me for any such position...

*That* part however, applies to a very large number of people in the community, and the fact that they are looking to have an official focal point for community issues, contact, etc can only be a good thing - good luck Rich, and anyone else who might apply.

Oh obviously not round here.....
On the PPC forums though...you seem to have the patience and clarity of a transparent patient.

...but that's another story.
Good luck, Rich Sounds like you'd just be a forum mod though

Oooh, does that make you the Perplexian ambassador to Earth? Or the Earth ambassador to Perplex City? And most importantly, will the ambassador get diplomatic immunity? If so, you don't even have to pay me to do the job; I'll work for free and rob banks on the side.

What would you do if you got the job? I mean with regards to PPC?
Actually, question to the community - if someone worked for MC but wanted to solve the cards on their own etc, would it be ok - or should they bow out....?

Well first I'd most likely jump around a bit and shout YES!....several times, maybe some Dr.Zoidberg style whooping?
As far as I understand based on infomation about Jey and Fiona (MC employees and ex-players) I would no longer be able to take part in the player side of the game.....ever read the small print on competions? it's like that.
As far as buying and solving the cards.....i'm sure there is nothing to stop you buying them, however I doubt you would have the facility to log on and enter your solves as it is a main consituant of the competion.
That's my take on it anyway.
