I can't remember if I posted this before but I've always thought that the letter split in the composer1 message is notes/beats per bar.
That we have 4 beats per bar with the final bar having 2 notes.
Not that, you know, that seems to help any.

You're right - about the running out of time thing.
Let's go back to the start. We got the Composer code when he asked "Where is the Cave of the Eye"
So this was before we got the e-mail message from him.
Is it fair to say that the Profile Code is not linked to the e-mail code as the times between them were too great?
Assuming that these are triads in the key of A-Minor. How would we have got to there? Is there a reason that these triads are linked to the particular lines?
If we work that out, could we have more of an idea how to solve the code?

I think we can safely unlink the profile code and the e-mail code as the two don't seem related, but then you never know.
For the musical elements of the code I can't help, as I'm clueless in that area. My mind keeps coming back to those puzzles where 12MITY = 12 months in the year, but I'm sude this isn't it lol.
The other alternative is we have to translate this code into Al Khari, but I don't see how we were supposed to do that when the IG characters have been out of touch all week.

Indeed.
We don't have enough letters to do that. I'm also so non musical as to be a joke.
We also have the avatar from composer. Do we think that has anything to do with anything?

For the avatar I thought at first it used the terminal control code system that the band ColdPlay used to creat their X&Y album cover, but there doesnt appear to be enough color variation for that.
Another thought was that it could be some type of morse. Notice the varied spacing, and only 3 colors.
I blew it up and wrote down the color dots in order, including the top and bottom bars, but I need to go into the office and the bank now so I don't have time to try to solve it. Maybe one of you can give it a shot?
For the Harmony code, has anyone looked at the pregame to see if composer used any 5x5 codes in it? May help us solve by seeing previous ones of his.
I'll try to get back on this tonight.

The closest I've seen to the Harmony code was the last War and Peace code. But that had 4character lines, not five, and wasn't broken either...
I have no idea how the triads come into play (other than ordering for the Aminor progressions). I can't get any combination of the five characters to map in any way to the triads, and have them make any sense...

Hi guys, I'm Matt... been watching from the sidelines, but I've had an idea which may help.
This seems very much like Irregular Columnar Transposition... has anyone taken a look at it in that way yet?
I'm rubbish with logic and numeric puzzles, so even if that's what it is I probably won't be able to solve it... but it does look very similar.

It could be, but the problem is the order, as we don't really have 1-6, we've got 2, 4, 6, two 3s, and 0 & 5 in the same line. There's too many ways to put the lines together.
my best guess is:
2 A O M N
3 L N C K
4 S A H U
5 O A U
6 S E R W
but this leaves SMUR3 out, and also drops PY off the row starting 3.
It does give us 3 words though: ALSO SON AAEM CHURN KUW

If we can't solve it by this weekend, what happens then? do we keep struggling with no real clue? or do we get a hint? I'd say right now we're not much closer than we were last week.

I thought we were much closer gorgeous...lol
but it will be interesting to see if we get another week, and another clue, or if there is some sort of consequence to our inability to crack the code.
EDIT> and now it's saturday, so soon we'll know.

I know I asked this before...how were we meant to work out that 2AOMN was meant to be the triad ACE?

This might be useful.
I'm having a read and, if it is, I'll come back triumphant.
If not I'll hide, red faced, in the corner

OK
The 5 colors of the Composers avatar. Is this a fret board?
Is this a fingering thing? Could we spell words with this?

I am so music blind and tone deaf that maybe we should get Audioslave on the case?

A fret board? Hm...I'm dissapointed I never thought of that... I guess it could work, there's 14 notes going up and down, which could work on a guiar. But there's only 5 vertically, where as there's usually 6 strings on a guitar. But it's possible it's on a different 5 string instrument, like a banjo. There's is also custom made basses and guitars that you can get with 5 strings, but basses usally have 4.
