Maybe they should write in their own languages. Given some of the codes and problems on puzzle cards I'm sure it's well within the capabilities of the intellect-valuing Perplex City residents to translate a mere foreign language, right? Wink

Awarding points for letters and VFE's is an OK way of them engineering the leaderboard so that there's something for newbies to aim at, rather than just being able to join everyone else on the same points, but there's going to need to be a lot more random points given out I reckon.

Extra points for first solve? First 10?

It's also so people who can't afford/ get the cards get a chance at points.

I like the extra points for first solve idea, will pass it on.
