GDC 2006 - San Jose meetup

 		GDC 2006 - San Jose meetup
Hi all,

The Games Developers Conference is starting next week, and Mind Candy (that is, Michael Smith, Adam Martin and myself) will be there from Monday to Friday. It'd be nice to meet up with any ARGers at the conference and swap news and ideas. If you'd like to meet up, just PM me.

We're also going to be at the ARG Special Interest Group meeting. It's taking place on Thursday 23rd, at 5:30pm to 6:30pm. The venue isn't confirmed since it's on the IGDA track, but it'll be in the conference booklet and any volunteers will be able to direct you towards it. Should be a lively and productive meeting, as usual Smile

Hope to see you there! I promise to give out a free pack of cards to every ARGer I meet, until I run out Cool (unfortunately they're not wave 3 though).

 		I, too, will be there as I'm covering the event for ARGN. Unlike Adrian though, I really don't want to meet any of you ARG freaks Wink Seriously, drop me a PM if you're going to be there or, even, if you aren't going to GDC but are in the area. Perhaps there'll be time one evening (maybe after the SIG meetup?) for a decent ARG player & pm & argn reporter person get-together.

Can anyone just walk in? I'm not attending the conference, but would love to listen in on this little bit of PM brainstorming, maybe even offer my perspective as a player.

Another event coinciding with the GDC closing night is the VideoGamesLive performance. I already have tickets for myself and my family, but we don't have dinner plans yet.
