Anyone else noted this yet?

from report - ETOD 10:00-12:00.

TRANSCRIPTS: Document 1 only.

*Document 1 - 13:44 14/1/269 - txt - 3k

>>To those who care,

>>I'm sorry. There has been so much pressure, so much loneliness, so little reward. The city in winter is a cold, dark place for a man on his own.

>>Forgive me for making this cowardly and clandestine exit.

>>Until the next life,

>>Isaac

Surely if he died between 10 and 12 then there is no way he could have written this note himself???

set-up anyone?

EDIT: Apologies... just realised the other discussion forum has already noted this...

Just to claim the best of my ideas from this evening:

Quote:
[17:49] Riot, Fanhill School (- acutally desks being thrown out of windows)

[18:00] Chainsaw maniac chopping maze at Mazy Wave Court. Approach with extreme caution.

[18:15] Fish fight confirmed in Hardcastle Docks.

[18:34] Road traffic accident by PXC Zoo. Saloon car. Wild animals loose. Possible release of Trestrestrestres.

Much thanks to BobbyJoeJackson and MikeyJ for much needed coroberation, as at various points the operators were having difficulty believing that the calls were not pranks - honestly, I ask you. Both also managed much damage under their own steam!!!

These were mine:

Quote:
[18:06] Corner of Stewart and Lee, on the Shift - vandal spraying a large 42 on road.
[18:44] Report from R Morse of crank calls being perpetrated by ring in Ascendancy Point Atrium. Suggest that officers at AP investigate this claim immediately.
[18:51] RE: Possible suicidal man spotted in front of Meridian Cross studios (I think it's mine. I sent a report saying he was ranting about "going quietly," which was supposed to allude to the Somnotherapy Institute there.)
[19:30] VV: Screaming heard from Gillit Road subway station

That was me.

However, I don't see my flasher report in there? Something along the lines of 'flasher in Caesura Park. Beware. May pounce again.'

/me had a moment of brilliance and lots of dramatical acting stuff going on with that one.

[17:41] Possible Ling sighting, Handler Road
[17:47] Suspicious drowning, Alchemy Beach
[18:13] ALERT: Be aware of possible terrorist threat to Key Square. As yet unconfirmed. May be imminent.
[18:39] Unconfirmed sighting of Ling in Caesura Park
[19:24] RD: Hubert Ling spotted on Klein Street in grey suit
[19:28] JR: Hubert Ling spotted on Dalia Way
[19:35] Coldsea Bridge - bomb squad en route, East side.

The thing with RD and JR, is weird, because i made the original claims and told the police step by step where i was following Ling (from the park, up klein street and then down dalia way) so how come mine didnt go up, but people that comfirmed what i had said, did come up?
The coldsea bridge thing worked well, cuz i told them i heard people plotting to "rock the city" by attacking key square....so looks like they put the terrorist alert out, then sent a bomb squad to the bridge where i told them i heard the voices. maybe cuz someone else said they saw a bloke with a package and wires hanging out? I was tryin to get more than just ONE sighting , effectivly killing two birds with one stone, n it seemed to work there !

The strangest thing was when I walked out of my building at work someone had sprayed a large yellow 24 on the grass.

I ran like the wind...

Full transcript of the trials and tribulations of a trip to Polygon Park, I should point out the bear wasn't mine, just passing so I added it in, and Lhall helped out with a tree-scratching corroboration. It was also useful that the other bear reports (at one point the sodding thing seemed to be transporting itself almost instantaneously around the city) were tied up by the "man in a bear suit" report. Phew!

report 1 wrote:
My daughter and I were playing in Polygon Park and I let her run off to play on the slides with a friend, but now I can't find her. I've been looking for fifteen minutes now. I found her key in the grass on the south side of the play area. I'm worried she's heading for the lake. She can't swim. She's got short brown hair, and she's six years old and called Cheryl. I'm sure she can't have gone far, but I can't see her anywhere. I couldn't get through to an operator. Please help!

Michael Kirkwood

[18:29] MK: Missing girl in Polygon Park, named Cheryl Kirkwood, short brown hair, six years old.

[18:41] Bear running wild in Polygon park. May be dangerous.

report 2 wrote:
I'm still looking for my daughter and still can't find her...I'm really worried now, can you please send some help. I've been to the edge of Lake Ellipse and back to the park but haven't seen any sign other than her key she dropped in the park.

I still can't get through to an operator directly...is anyoned oing anything about this? She's only six!

report 3 wrote:
There's still no sign of Cheryl, but I'm back by Lake Elipse and there's a fight breaking out nearby between some thugs. It looks quite nasty. There's also no sign of any of your officers and still can't get though to you!

report 4 wrote:
I'm now on the south bank of the Lake, and having to look in the undergrowth. I've found a shoe that looks like my Cheryl's, but I don't know. Please help. I don't know what to do.

Why aren't you helping?

[19:04] MC: Missing girl Cheryl Kirkwood still not found in Polygon Park. Father is becoming highly worried

report 5 wrote:
Have found Cheryl, she's in a tree on the south bank of the Lake, but she seems terrified, she keeps crying about some sort of big hairy monster. I can't get any sense out of her, but I've never seen her this scared and I can't get her out of the tree.

What are you actually employed to do?...I might as well be out here alone and we're in the middle of the City!

[19:12] MC: Cheryl Kirkwood found by her father, reports of big hairy monster (likely bear, reported elsewhere)

[19:13] Armed response team en route to intercept bear.

report 6 wrote:
We're both in the tree. There is some sort of animal down there. I heard panting and andsnuffling and then some sort of roar. Cheryl's absolutely hysterical. I have no idea what it is, but it's bigger than any pet I've ever seen, but we can't stay here all night. We're on the south side of Lake Ellipse in a tree, and it's not the biggest of trees. I can't make out any other landmarks for the branches. We really need to see a friendly face right now. Please

[19:22] MC: Unidentified creature threatening Cheryl Kirkwood and her father

report 7 wrote:
We're going to have to come down. I've no idea what it is, but we can't stay here. Making a run for it south in the hopes that we meet Polygon walk. Although it seems that Perplex City's Police Department have absolutely no qualms about a wild animal and a missing girl. Whether we make it back or not the Sentinel will hear of this incompetence!

[19:29] LH: Large bear spotted south of Ellipse Lake scratching at a tree

report 8 wrote:
I have never been so terrified in my life and have also never been so disappointed in a public service in our city. My daughter is traumatised, we'regoing to have to go to the hospital and have her checked out. Her mother (if she doesn't divorce me for loosing her in the first place) has apparently been taken ill with the worry, I can't get through to her and only hope that she is well. Relatives are currently with her.

Not at any point throughout my and my daughter ordeal did we see a single police officer despite the obvious (to me, but apparentyl not to you) seriousness of the circumstances.

I am sickened by your lackadaisical approach to policing.

I will be following this up with legal proceedings.

Michael Kirkwood

Yours was definitely there about the flasher, I remember it.

Anyway, mine were:

Quote:
[18:48] JB: Possible gunfire reported on Perdido Avenue

Thought I'd do a normal one to see if it worked and:

Quote:
[19:21] JB: Naked swimmer in Mazy River near Leong Drive

Was meant as a kinda link to the waterskier (the naked one Razz).

Which was mine! (The naked waterskier one)

I also started off the gangfight in polygon park, which was backed up by kizandtango, i think...i got another one on there aswell, can't remember what it was now though.

Oh, and i also said about a suspicious guy wearing a black bodywarmer with wires poking out of it...which may have helped towards the bomb squad deployment near coldsea bridge...

Hmm, don't think I saw mine on the list - did anyone see 'Suspicious couple of men on Wood Lane with large rucksack looking purposfully at the Security Building' at around 17:50 ish. First response by controller was "We can't arrest people for looking suspicious".

You don't? Why not! Smile

To be honest, I was so surprised at actually getting through, having been trying since 17:30 that it took me 5 seconds to getout the word suspicious - I hope that mp3 never surfaces! (I remember having a good laugh at the phone transcipts during I love bees).
