[UPDATE] New website: www.perplexcitypolice.com

In today's Sentinel, we have a link to the PerplexCity Police website, through the report on Cymbalisty's death.

Theres an internal page that requires a username and password for authentication, which is very interesting...

I suppose Helena Frye is our best bet for working out a password, as she's the police woman we've have most contact with thus far?

I think its a case of get in find evidence about Cymbalists death being covered up and send it to Anna.

Perhaps we should be working with Anna on this one then as she has sworn to find out what is behind the death. Also we may be able to tap into Violet and Kurt as they have both been involved with Cymbalist and Helena Frye?

I doubt Helena would give us access to the secret passwords of the police database but we may be able to get one of the other contacts we have in PXC to strike up a relationship with her and possibly get relevent information that allows us to discern what the username and passwords are? (Perhaps we should try and get Kurt and Helena paired off, after all, getting beaten up and neary shot can't be the worst way to start a relationship? Smile)

Just reading through the site and all the various departments and missing persons etc. Something that strikes me as funny (not haha way) is that a majority of the letters in the Sentinel complain about much volence and crime occurs on Earth compared to Perplexcity. But the from the police site you would think its just as bad over there! Sex attacks, violent crime drug abuse, robberies etc.

It seems the more we dive into the city the more we find that its not as shiny and perfect as they made out orginally.

Yup, that sounds par for the course, but do we know much *personal* information about Helena? The passwords so far all seem to have broken the code of password protection in using peronal details that with a llittle digging us earthlings can fathom!

EDIT: D'oh! In the time it takes me to write 3 lines, 2 more posts have been entered!

Sledgecallier - you trying to pimp Kurt? This was once a pleasant family game! Wink

Me? Pimp Kurt?? Laughing

After all, the Kurt & Violet thing seems to be going no-where so perhaps the boy deserves some good lovin' Wink

Actually, having looked at the Wiki it would appear that we know nothing of the personal life of Frye so not even sure if she is single or anything.... Still worth a shout?

Thing is would the police department actually have a public record on her? Or even admit she exists? For us to try to contact her I mean. If she is part of a secret SAS style team then really you wouldnt want her identity to become public knowledge.

Too right - I think there is a serious lack of information about the "real" history on PXC and I certainly think the real history of the cube has been blurred in time

Well, she was named in the Sentinel after the Gillit Road incident:
Quote:
Police insiders, speaking on condition of anonymity, say that a raid led by Detective Helena Frye went foul when an unexpected interloper turned up at the scene.

She's a slightly suspect police woman, of course she's single! Don't you watch the movies?

I don't see any other way of getting information about her?

Moral guardians, and those of a nervous disposition should look away now

Why does she have to be single? Have you people never heard of folk having affairs?! Not that I wish to cast aspersions about her character, or anyone else's for that matter, but it's possible.
