Does anyone still have a scanned image that I could see, if so please PM me. Thanks

Or am I too late to join this fun?

They took the spread down that I posted for legal reasons. If anyone wants a copy I won't be able to send one for legal reasons, but PM me and I can at least - ahem- "sympathise" with you. Wink

Did I have to add the wink?

Thanks for the sympathy. It tough when you can't get all the puzzles, and having an e-shoulder to cry on helps.

As for the wink, it scared me.

Thanks for volunteering - we appreciate your support and we'll be in touch shortly. If you completed the puzzle successfully and you were one of the first 100 applicants, we will arrange for the Perplex City Academy intelligence testing materials to be sent to you.

Does this mean we need to wait for them to Snail Mail us materials?
In touch Shortly. Via eMail or sMail? ... I think we might need to wait for stuff to arrive in the mailbox.

I went with
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
lightbulb
. too many hints leading to that.
Are you "Bright" enough to solve this.

Optionally i just thought
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Brilliant
might also be the answer.

Snail mail it is as they only asked for a mailing address and no e mail address

Arg! I put in my real age, too (31). Do you really think they will only pick the first 100 correct answers from people 18-30?? That'll teach me to read everything before acting. Arg!

on a side note: the blurb in CGW is what got me into this "game" and now I am hooked. i am anxiously awaiting my first packs of cards from InSound (as there are only two retail stores in US that carry them Crying or Very sad ), and have of course already solved the free virtual cards. i never knew there was something this cool out there!

I entered as well. Now to see if I got the answer right or whether I got within the first 100. I entered a few days ago.

swinging, as for only 2 retailers in the US, that's not entirely accurate. I got my first pack and the starter set that should be arriving soon from a place called Diversions in Newbury, Ohio. They're really good about ordering over the phone. According to CJ, the guy that owns the place (can you tell I've been there a lot?), there are about a dozen places in the US that sell Perplex City cards. Still not a significant number but more than 2. If you give them a call, I'm sure he'll hook you up as well. I'm certain that I'm going to give him a call when wave 3 comes out. Diversion's website. He also, I believe, has single Perplex Cards for sale.

Sweet! Yeah, on the game website they just have two stores listed, but last night I looked around here a little and there seem to be a few more than that. Maybe they will make it to Seattle someday. I know there's a store in Oregon already...

Really? That's awesome, where? I go to school in Salem, OR, and am in Portland very frequently. Do you know what the store is called and/or where in Oregon it is?

Sure! In another thread someone said they sell cards at Rainy Day Games in Aloha, OR. I'll be jealous if that's close to you. Smile

Have any of you been contacted by Cognivia or Perplex City Academy yet?

I did it probably two days ago and haven't been contacted yet. Who knows whether they've had their 100 people for a while or whether there were 20,000 people signing up and they have to go through everyone.

Noone seems to know if the right answer has even been entered yet so we just have to wait to see if it turns up I believe.
