I may not be able to claim first place, but I must still agree with Scott as it sits on the counter next to my computer.

This is one dead sexy 204-page, soft-cover piece of distilled awesome.
Very Happy

Once again, to everyone involved, including myself: totally wicked job.
Rock On

Well I had a very small part in the collaborative story. I've sent my details and now wait with fingers crossed.

Got mine yesterday. Looks ridiculously amazing. I haven't been able to follow the forums very much for the past couple of weeks (damn you, chemical engineering!!!!) so it was quite a shock when I got home to find a package on my doorstep. Probably won't have time to read it before this summer, but like everyone else said, the cover looks amazing.

Also, if anyone could be so kind as to give me a quick rundown of what's been going on for the past month or so. I think the last thing I remember is the Live Event in London. Maybe just a PM so as not to clutter up the fora. Thanks.

The cube wa found near one of the salt ponds on Grand Turk, based on the clues given in the morse code. Because of the environmental conditions there, it had sorta disolved/erroded to just a roundish lump of metal. Being essentially worthless now, there is no reward, and PPC is threatening war.

You really missed a lot, huh?

This is my complimentary copy. Surprising I got mine before you Mokey, since they seem to be located in NC. Maybe they have printers in NY? I dunno.

I don't see anything you (or I, or anyone else fFor that matter) missed or fForgot, Sentepede.

I have been sort of pondering the possibility of some secret hidden message getting embedded in the book somewhere along the line. like a 3P message of some sort. I don't see anything on a cursory inspection, so I'm kinda thinking probably not -- err, I haven't, you know, held it under a blacklight in the fFull moon on tuesday or anything .. but I uhm, don't think we need to worry about that level of obfuscation.

North Carolina? *checks Lulu's website* Holy cow, they're just a couple of towns over! So where the heck is my book, then? Confused

EDIT: Never mind, it's here! Very Happy Mokey, it's coming by UPS Rolling Eyes--it might take another day or so.

Okay, so I submitted a story, and last I heard it was being used. I got a free copy of the book, my biography is in the book, but my story is not. Sad Did it get cut? If so, why did my biography make it in and why did I get a free copy? (Not complaining, I like free anything; with the possibly exception of venereal diseases) Perhaps someone could shed some light?

Josh - Not sure about this. Certainly your piece was included in the final edit I made and as far as I was aware everyone's stories would have been included. Centepide made the final edits on the pdf so you'd have to double check with him as to why the piece is missing but it may have been dropped for length reasons as it was one of the longer pieces submitted? (Saying that they gave us no indication of maximum lengths and I would be a bit annoyed if that was the case...)

Is is missing from other peoples copies too or has Josh been REALLY unlucky to have a copy where his own story has been missed out? (I know it's unlikely but it is worth a check...)

I don't know what happened, but it wasn't in the version of the book that I formatted for pdf.
