Viral marketing

I thought it might be interesting to have a thread about various viral marketing spots (who can forget the Ka ads where the sunroof chopped a cat in half?).

Here's a CNET story about a couple of videos that may or may not be viral but definitely show off the features of a new webcam.

Anyone else been subversively marketed lately? Wink

Ok, so I don't know if this would be called viral or not, but your post reminded me of how Honda sooo fooled me the other day. I was driving along I65 and saw a billboard that asked some silly question like - Why is an element like an iguana? Tune into XX.X radio station now to find out!

I totally fell for it. I turned to the radio station, but heard nothing but static. I've read a few accounts across the internet where people claim they tuned into the station and heard an Element ad. Regardless, if it really works or not they got me. If there had been an Element ad on the station I was listening too I probably would have either tuned it out or changed the station. But somehow they actually got me to seek out their ad. And now I'm still talking about it spreading the word. Gah! Did they just get me again?
