Thread for disussing "attack" on PXC police?

Surely there is a thread for this somewhere but I can't sort out where. Point me if you can.

There are three discussions going on at the moment. One in Kurts latest thread and two in Anna's dated 6th and 10th. But might be alot easier if there was one thread to sort this.

Good plan. Though if Kurt doesn't get his arse in gear, we aren't going to be able to do it.

I'm sorry? You're expecting the man to jump up, throw his hands in the air, scream:

"I've been wrong all along! Yes I'm going to once again risk my career, my life outside prison, my girlfriend AND (wait for it) my neck on attacking the police system to try and find evidence that may or may not exist concerning a murder that I really don't think was a murder just because the people on Earth are bitching at me to do so?! How can I have been so stoopid!"

Rolling Eyes Perhaps we should be waiting for Anna to tell us what she picked up from the police station and go from there? Kurt obviously wants the hard facts if he's going to help. Anna may find a way to do it without him. I think Kurt is persuadable but he's not going to have an epiphany on this one without some evidence.

Cut to scene inside dingy cellar, a number of shady looking individuals in bedsheets, clearly involved in some form of clandestine meeting. We join them midway through their discussion...

"All right, but apart from the sanitation, the medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, a fresh water system, and public health, what has Kurt ever done for us?"

Kurt did aid us in getting into the Hesh Intranet and that got us a recording of V's killing Monica Grand and some insight to the capabilities of the Third Power.

As for the attack on the PXCPD whoever is doing it had better be well organised.

Tuesday is pretty much the day. Since Roll for Damage concert is on that is the optimal opportunity.

Of course this is going to rely on Anna and Kurt for direction in what to do and how much damage we have to do while looking for what the police have not told the public.

One other thing it is possible that this will run to a very tight timeline.

If I'm there in time it should be fun. If it happens.

Over in #syzygy, we've been hatching diabolical plants discussing the event, and somebody wondered aloud what to say if the police asked for specific details about the location...

So, here are some helpful links:

http://wiki.incognitus.net/ppc/index.php/Euler%27s_Disk

Euler's Disc/k is located in the Artists' Quarter, which is north of Old Town and falls under the Amandier precinct, according to this police site.

And for future reference, here's a very helpful Google-style map of the city. I'm not sure, but I think we might need a part that's not currently available. Look it over and let me know if I've missed it.

I'm thinking that a rash of sightings of one of the "most wanted" might grab their attention. If there was a bunch of sightings of a dangerous criminal that was high priority for capture in one area, then I think that the police might just follow that up. Someone like, Juniper Onigo maybe. There is a large reward for him, and he rarely ventures out. Plus he seems to keep to one place (the Old Town) which would mean that the police would go there.

Just a thought.....

I think we need a mix all all these ideas, some major incidents, lots of minor incidents and the prerequisite silliness.

As has been mentioned before, having coherant *believeable* events is certainly key. In addition however, we need to take into account Anna's (or Fleming's) original idea
Code:
... if someone -- or many, many someones -- were to report ongoing crimes in every police district in the city at the same time ...

So, I think the key points here are ongoing crimes in every police district. As Gibbet has pointed out previously there's a list of the police districts on the pxcpd site, so we probably need to tie these districts into actual roads/addresses in the city before zero hour. As far as *ongoing* crimes, 'fire' and 'riot' sound like a good ones to me - I don't think sightings or petty crimes are necessarily going to cut it.

*EDIT* Having said that, I suppose we actually need something that can be both *ongoing* and *not real*, so maybe sightings are the way to go ...

And finally, for the sake of believability, having more than one report of the same incident seems key to me. It would be far more difficult for the police to discount a report as a hoax if the crime had been reported by many individuals.

Ok so lets get a rough plan in motion then. how bout we pick 4 precincts with sightings of one "most wanted" person in each one to get those four out of the way and busy, and flood cases of riots into the other 3 precincts (riots because they will need a larger number of officers than a domestic) or say we heard gunshots in certain areas (putting officers on high alert in high numbers) OR go along the route of calling in alot of every day crimes. If u go
here http://www.perplexcitypolice.com/community.html u can see a list of the areas and whats there, the most common crimes etc, just enuf info to call in the right type of crime. The site says each precinct is "tailored to match the demand of the community" so if we called in reports that they arent tailored to match,surely this will cause more chaos because they will call on other districts for help.
I need someone with more knowlage of the area of PXC. here's the list of percinct areas, so can someone figure out where (specfic places, roads etc) we should say each thing is happening?

* Key
* Stratus
* Mobius
* Alchemy
* Polygon
* Amandier
* Old Town

So should we call in things we know are regular things (like strutus and shoplifting) or call in the opposite so they call on other precincts to help them? Maybe the key could get a few bomb threat calls (goverment building, high profile,so they wud spend mor time fine combing the area)
So what do ya think? Get some kinda plan together for half 6 tonite? I think TIME CONSUMING crimes would fit better for tonight, because we need to steal a one hour time frame, so search's are the way to go.

Using the information that we have been given, the map, and the subway map, I have roughed up where the Police Areas are. It is really rough, so please forgive the lack of finesse! Some of these areas, for example Amandier (contains Euler's Disc where the concert is), and Stratus where Ascendancy Point is, are not on the map pieces that we currently have.

We should have loads of addresses though to get stuck into Mobius, Old Town, Polygon, Key, and part of Alchemy.

From the Ascendency website, we get two road names:
Quote:
Ascendancy Point is located in the commercial centre of Perplex City. Its main entrance is on Ascendancy Way which runs parallel to Fivebridges Lane.

EDIT: And from the Perplex City Banking Corporation website, we get:
Quote:
Our main office is based at the PCBC Tower on Ascendancy Way, overlooking Auger Park.
