New Ecard from red queen

The card can be seen at http://www.godandscience.org/cards/may28-169479147.html.

Text as follows:

Vacca foeda

You children are beyond hope. My priestess does a fair job of bringing in supplicants, but I want more; I want you. And yet you're no good to me unless you find your own way. (The ancient rules of engagement yet hold, forbidding the giving of true names.)

And is it really so hard? All you need deduce is a sequence of Latin roots representing 'writings about walking around' which correlates to 'a honeypot for illiterate porn-seekers', and even this is made unnecessary by the magic invested in google.

red (not an ant, but with the poison bite)

This card was created by the red queen (b100dSPLATNOtheOTHERmountain.com)

Possible site, but where to go ?

Where to go, what to do, if it is the place?

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
http://www.promography.com

There is a user/poster who goes by Queen, but I'm unsure if this is the place... Found by googling the "writings about... quote"

I've been big-time lurking on this one, so no idea how to proceed...

Just for posterity here is the single entry from "Queen":

Quote:
a whip-
crack of flashing light! She
lowers the insulting
camera from her eye
and smirks.
"Violation!" you cry and give
chase to the offender. It's too early;
she manages to escape, leaving
behind coy laughter and taunts
of photo negatives.
Click –
the pen-
cap returns to its place. I
lower the quiet
instrument from the page
and frown.
You say nothing, for you know
nothing. The sun has reached its peak;
I escape easily, under your eye no less, leaving
behind crumpled shredded
indecipherable attempts at capturing
you on paper.

Queen, 04/23/03

Sorry...I was looking at the "1 comment" thing thinking that she had only the one.

Quote:
Spring

the wind whistled through, rattling the tulips
and you caught a bit of fly-by ribbon
twisting and turning and quite independent
it squirmed and tore itself from your playful gasp
and was snatched up by the tangled fingers
of a nearby tree, an innocent bystander
who wove it into her leafy plait "don't I look
just ravishing, darling, come and give me a kiss"
and to everyone's surprise, the thrush obeyed

thrush = "little bird"?

Quote:
late night drive by kidnapping.
wanted: police police find
this boy, have you seen him?
he stole my heart under the
dampened darkened light of the
lamppost outside my window
and hid it quite away; I
can't find it nor get it back
and it hurts, oh yes it hurts.
But if he says "twas only in
retribution" we'll call it a draw.

This boy = Ewan?

It sure LOOKS like the right place! See:
http://www.promography.com/whatispromography.html

I'm not 100% sure if "Queen" is the writer we're looking for. Yes, her entries are all poems, and the Red Queen has usually written in poetry. The first (March!) entry has her looking for a missing boy who stole her heart (Ewan?).

We could e-mail "Queen"! Her e-mail is teenyaileenySPLATexcite.com. Anyone try that yet? Another e-mail she uses is apparently truthSPLATisbeauty.com.

I googled on teenyaileeny, and she got a few hits, including:
http://teenyaileeny.diaryland.com/
http://members.diaryland.com/edit/profile.phtml?user=teenyaileeny
http://teenyaileeny.signmyguestbook.com/

Just another innocent accidently drawn into our web, or the Mad Queen of B100d herself?

BTW, you can check through all the posts on promography by clicking through the "prev" link in the bottom right. There aren't very many. I didn't find anything else suspicious there at a quick glance. Presumably we're supposedly to be looking for a Priestess of the Red Queen here, her "Pythia", not the Queen herself?

Also, I am somewhat intrigued by the new signature: b100dSPLATNOtheOTHERmountain.com

The "b100d from b100d" e-card was sent by "undisclosed@themountain.com"

I'd previously commented about www.themountain.com being some shirt retailer. Is this a response? What "other mountain"? Well, this being mostly Greek mythology, how about Mount Olympus? I did find this weird near-empty web site:
http://www.mountolympus.com/

Welcome to Mount Olympus!
Home of the Greek gods, led by Zeus (aka John)
Nothing interesting here yet, check back later.

Any famous mountains in Norse mythology?

Really? Not that many? That should be a relief I guess. I had figured there would be a lot more to wade threw since the first "prev" link has an id of 384 and they appear to be in descending sequential order. Though I found gaps as large at 10 between some posts, most gaps I've seen so far are just 1 or 2. At some point I've gotten to does it jump a few hundred or does it just stop at id 300 or something?

I should have said there aren't that many RECENT ones. There are 384 in total. Some entries appear to be missing (deleted?). But only 314+ are from this year. And I'm assuming that anything game related is no more than a couple of months old. 336 is the first one in March '03. So there are at most 50 that might matter. I guess that's enough. I'm no poetry fan, so I don't think I'll be going over every one in excrutiating detail. Smile

Hello...

Hi, I'm the Queen you all are talking about here...I found my way here through the site meter on my online diary.

My address indeed is teenyaileenySPLATexcite.com, and the poems you cited from promography are all by me...but I don't know what you guys are talking about at all, so I'm sure I'm not the person you're trying to seek out. It was amusing to find out that perfect strangers are combing through my poetry and trying to decipher hidden meanings, though. ^_^ But no, sorry, I'm a dead end.

Anyone care to enlighten me what this site is about? It seems rather interesting.

Mm, so good luck with whatever you're doing here...hehe...

Peace ~~>

Queen,

It's sort of an online puzzle/cipher game with a plot. We are at present searching for the site where the Red Queen has built her "Temple" (so to speak). The clues we had to find this site included:

A site where hearts are poured out
Writings about walking around
A honeypot for illiterate porn-seekers

Which all translate nicely to promography. And then when we saw there was a "Queen" listed, we of course started analyzing the possibilities. We still haven't figured out how or where her "temple" could or could not be associated with promography.com....but searching for other site possibilities has yet to bear fruit.

...but we keep searching:)
