I share duckie's vision of being old and grey and seeing it come on the news. How awesome would that be?

Not as awesome as cackling like a madman, hauling out your fifty year old Reimann card, and using the good old obsolete (by then) Internet to log on and answer the card, gaining those 60 points and topping the leaderboard at a point where no-one else cares.
C'mon - surely there'll be another prize for whoever does that. Wink

Honestly, though, look at it this way. A LOT of the cards I can't solve, and I'm sure there's a few that everyone's had to get help with. Master Of Secrets effectively required a few years of study into ancient languages - an Arts degree at a university or an obsession.

Similarly, Reimann is going to take a lot of work and will probably require having studied maths for a significant period of time. It's not necessarily impossible, just difficult. Frankly, there's probably a bunch of kids who have bought these cards over time who couldn't do the orange cards. I have a friend who didn't know the Sphinx card, for that matter - on the other hand, they probably woul have whooped my arse at another card.

I handed the Reimann card to a twelve year old boy the other day. He'd never thought about the relationship between prime numbers, and promptly spent two hours looking at the Fibonacci sequence and anything else his year 7 education provided him, trying to solve it.
Do you think he was bothered by the difficulty of the thing? Or, for that matter, by the inherent security risks?

(Just realised this thread was a little old - too used to faster moving forums. So sorry. >.>)
