[hyp3r][SPEC] Data Knights-Knights Templar connection?

Here's a thought I had on IRC... let me know what you think:

(23:38 PM) <Randy> For some reason Data Knights remind me of the Priory of Sion and the Knights Templar...
(23:39 PM) <Randy> Read the Da Vinci code, anyone?
(23:40 PM) <Hyexistenz> nope
(23:41 PM) <Randy> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knights_Templar_%28military_order%29
(23:41 PM) <Randy> ...If you're bored and have nothing better to do.
(23:42 PM) <Randy> "At any time, each knight had some ten people in support positions."
(23:42 PM) <Randy> hrmm... similar
(23:45 PM) <Randy> What do you think?
(23:45 PM) <Randy> "...the Order was often trusted with the safekeeping of precious goods by participants in the Crusades..."
(23:46 PM) <Randy> Anyone awake ?
(23:47 PM) <Hyexistenz> it's interesting, but what do we do with it?
(23:48 PM) <Randy> no idea... I just thought that what I know about the Keymaker/Data Knights and the Knights Templar are awkwardly similar

What we think we know about Keymaker/Data Knights that relates to the Knights Templar:
    ● Keymaker belongs to a group of Data Knights.
    ● Keymaker is one of ten of the Data Knights.
    ● Keymaker is sending Hyexistenz papers (pirate papers?). The content or details of them are unknown.
    ● The Knights Templar was thought to have passed down esoteric knowledge... documents that only those who have obtained trust are permitted to receive.
    ● Hyexistenz has gained the trust of Keymaker.
...Just some things to ponder.

A few days ago I tried to find the exact conversation where Keymaker mentions he is the 3rd of 10 Data Knights... but I couldn't find it. Con you confirm that he actually said this (I think I was the first to propose it in the main thread... but now I'm not so sure)

EDIT: I found the reference in the correspondance thread.

Quote:
Keymaker: The data knights? Well, we are an embodiment of a lot of different things. Think of them pretty much as the cave drawings on the wall. They've been looked at for so long, they've existed since time has begun. Yet, nobody's given them another thought. They've been neglected, considered nothing more than mere scribblings along an insignificant place. But, over time, they formed, they grew, they expanded, and have become something that's more. The cave drawings have stepped off from the wall. They've sprouted legs, and they've started they're own little society, if you will. The ten of us have been watching, waiting, hoping that someone, Some-something more. And I'd like to thank you, for doing so. I must take my leave, keep in touch. (laughter)

I still haven't found why we think he is the 3rd of ten (or maybe he means he is 3 Data Knights in one... sort of a trinity).

At one point, Key maker said he one of many Data Knights (not Drak Knights... my mistake). I couldn't find it exactly but I think he said 3 of 10, is that where you got the idea, Hyexistenz?

He said the 3 of 10 thing in the very first phone call that we got ( a few pages back there's a link to the recording and a transcript of the call). That's where i came up with the 3 of 10 thing...after shooting off about a million emails using different things the keymaker had said.

I think the 3 of 10 is the model number Keymaker is talking about, not the 430003 number...the 430003 is probably some other type of clue tho....possibly the TIME he keeps talking about?

**edited for spelling and grammar errors...what was I on crack when I typed this out originally??

Here is the audio: http://www.hyp3rn3xus.com/package_tracker/KEY.au

At 00:43: "I am a data knight. Three of ten to be precise." Keymaker goes into slightly more detail, so you might want to take a listen again to refresh your memory of what was said.

Here is a full transcript of the audio, thanks to Whalewashingdolphin: http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/download.php?id=5320

Okay... As far as I can understand, the storyline here is a mix of the Matrix, Flatland, Knights Templar, and Pirates.

Oh! I read the DaVinci code. Maybe we should consider looking into the book that the knights/priory was based on. The name escapes me, but somebody should look into it...

The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail? I haven't read it yet but I hope to read it soon.

Hm..I remember that one, I think I was either thinking of

Genesis of the Grail Kings: The Explosive Story of Genetic Cloning and the Ancient Bloodline of Jesus (Hardcover)

or

The Templar Revelation

Given that most of our clues have come from viewing the source of a page, I would venture to guess he is speaking of some piece of technology that makes up all we see, yet is never recognized or given credit.
