I hate to be a killjoy but I need to assert the need for a level of caution.

I have seen site one at the least and spend some time in that area so it's important to note that it is located on a campus whose students have been known to advertise their fraternities and organizations in many unusual areas. In addition the site has been used by several games and scavanger hunts which could have added to the orginal message. There is a ready supply of chalk in the area so it would not be difficult to mark.

On the otherhand, the main message is clearly for us Beekeepers. And I have NEVER seen anyone mark those walls either advertising for a frat or for any other reason in my five years or so of loitering around in that area.

Therefore I suggest caution but can not outright dimiss the scribbles, spirals, or greek letters.

I didnt get to play ILB (weeP) nor am I invovled with its ertswhile sequel, nor am I playing this really (whatever "this" may be), but I'd liek to throw out a suggestion.

I think that guy who wrote a message to "Melissa" may have had an idea... I'd suggest leaving another one only with contact info. Toss in your email addresss (or since its gonna be publically displayed, create a "junk" hotmail one just in case of sudden deluge of spam).

Couldn't hurt

Thanks WiredClover.

The last word looks like γαλεπος (galepos). No idea what it means.

And don't worry Akodo Bob, I (and probably, most people around here) take anything new that purports to be ILB-related with a metric ton of salt. For now it's just an amusing diversion.

My 2cts: A group of people out there played ILB. One or more of them are running a small game for the rest of the group because they miss ILB.
I gather many groups evolved during ILB are now running little mystery games for themselves.

I wouldn't call it a sequel, but it has some ILB story elements.

The interesting part is that it is from March 30th, and the Greek letters say "he is the cow". In ILB2, we currently have a character known as Moloch, a cow god.

We also had a clue where it said there are 5 names on a wall.

This looks very interesting.....Heres hoping that this is a new ILB. But just one quick question: Didnt ILB2 already happen? (see www.ilovebees2.com) I thought that it had happened, or was this the hoax that was hinted at in the first post? Maybe (actually most likley) Im just confused, but just a curious person asking a curious question. Anyhoo....still really want this to be the next ILB.

I don't even know if this is related (probably not) but has anyone else mentioned this? Do we know anyone that can provide the audio that was played after the Halo 3 trailer?

4:02 pm - The trailer is the same as the one currently on Xbox Live. Ends with "Finish the Flight -- 2007." The lights come on.

Over the speakers, some Halo 3 audio trailer continues. It's full of muddled voices, full of static, full of confusing references to Halo 3 plot elements that have not happened yet. There's Japanese, English, and Spanish mixed in. The background noise appears to have been recorded on a train platform. Hardcore Halo fanboys might be picking some clues up from this stuff, but we can't tell whether it's just a cute way to wrap things up or whether there's actually someone's embedded clues to kickstart the Halo 3 launch ARG (assuming there will be one).

No, it was never a hoax, it was never claimed to be the sequel to ILB, it was just called ILB2.

Like I said, it has some elements, but that is it.

It is still happening, but is probably going to shutdown soon due to inactivity, despite the amount of clues still unsolved.
