Just looking at the ebay link. On the silver card NAND, there appears to be a guest puzzle architect and Garnet has signed it. Isn't that strange.

Justice! Looks like someone has had a word with that ebay seller.
He has ended the auction and got rid of all the bids.
I bet mind candy had a word in his ear.

Not really. Several other cards have a guest artist, but one of the scribes are behind the puzzle itself. Im guessing that is what happened here.

Why on earth would Mind Candy, or anyone else, care if a retailer were to sell a card a day early? I can only think that arbitrage is a very good thing.

xxsamisamxx seems to have plenty on there though, just ran a search for perplexcity wave 3.
No pictures to go with the cards though... or numbers...
I love how he/she puts that he/she can send them out on the release date when its a 10 day auction...

Sorry chris . I was under the influence that it was a really bad thing to sell cards early.
The place I have ordered them said that they were Under very strick orders that they can not sell them until the 6th.

Just so everybody knows, people have started to solve cards today. They seem to be retailers. Shame, ruined it really.
Looks like they got themselves kicked off the leaderboard for doing so though - leastways I've managed to go from joint 11th to 13th and back up to 12th today without having solved any cards plus one of the names above me has mysteriously disappeared.

I've just been having a look on Jaffa's World at the new card pictures. Is that Unfictions very own Brian Enigma as the guest architect for Silver 227 NAND?! http://jaffasworld.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=47_88&products_id=1423

From Jaffas world:
Quote:
Wave 3 perplex city cards are now available to view online. They will be made available to buy after 12.01am tonight
In Brief: Wave 3 release is unlike the release of wave 1 & 2. Within the booster packs only 33% of cards are of wave 3. 33% of wave 2 and 33% of wave 1. The cards are mixed within the boosters. eg: you may get an uneven mix of cards in each pack containing cards from all 3 waves. Some packs contain more wave 2 or more wave 1 or more wave 3, the mix is totally random.
There are 62 new cards in wave 3 : 10 Silver, 10 Black, 7 Purple, 7 Blue. 7 Green, 7 Yellow, 7 orange and 7 Red.
Red and Orange cards are less common than in previous waves. Some of the new silver cards are very difficult to come by. The rarity of blue, purple and black cards remains the same as in previous waves
I've previously posted on card dispersion, but investigating the best way to get Wave 3 cards without a) overspending & b) ending up with tons of dupes.

Well, if it's any help, my 12 "wave three" packs from Deckboosters just produced 17 w3 cards, including two duplicates. That's a lot less than the one third w3 it should have been - three packs had none in at all.
Broken down as follows: 2 reds (same card twice), two orange, one yellow, five green (inc one duplicate), two blue, two purple, thee black, no silver.
The w1/w2 cards mixed in with them had the normal colour distribution - lots of red, no silver.

Well, just got back from my foray to Forbidden Planet
Packs are £2.99 there, a small increase from £2.50 for the old packs which are still on sale (stupidly I mentioned it to the cashier that she had forgotten to charge me for the packs, and she added them on...)
4 packs, 10 wave 3, 14 other which isn't a bad mix
1 pack was all wave 3
1 pack was all not wave 3
No silvers, but one black which has a guest architect of Brian Enigma

Boo, people have already started solving the cards I have! Prefered it last time when my cards arrived from Firebox at 7am (Mental Note: Never EVER order stuff from Firebox that's too big to be delivered by a walking postman and then have a heavy night out...)
Had plenty of first solves on wave 2...

My cards went through the till at 2.99, but i pointed out they should be 2.50. It seems i was right and i was only charged 2.50 a pack. Seems like FP may have been trying to make some extra from us.....
Also from 12 packs:
31 different wave 3 cards
2 packs all wave 3
3 packs no wave 3
no wave 3 blacks or silvers. Going back later...this is like crack
