Update:thoughtscapes.com/mute/

http://www.thoughtscapes.com/mute/

Fingerspelling....

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
YOU HAVE REMOVED THE LITTLE BIRD

FROM THE CAGE IN WHICH

FOR HIS OWN PROTECTION BLESS YOU

IF HE'S TO SURVIVE THE DAYS TO COME

HE NEEDS FRIENDS WHO WILL MAKE A CONCERTED EFFORT

ON HIS BEHALF WHICH YOU HAVE NOW MUSTERED

WELCOME TO THE NEXT LEVEL

The second line doesn't flow all that well into the third...so I'm not sure if I missed a word somewhere.

I've extracted the individual frames...

Each of the seven animations is an animated GIF (graphics interchange format) file. I saved them all locally and used the "Extract all frames" option of my IrfanView image viewing/editing program to separate out all the individual frames. Each frame is one letter, and there are 212 frames in total. Attached is a ZIPped file with all 212 individual frames. Those from the first animation are named "one_...", etc. Somebody should double-check Cemgate's translation and see if he missed something or not. I don't have time to do it myself now, I'm done for the night.

I know all but 4-5 of the less common letters of fingerspelling, and I am confident I had Line 2 correct, but as I said earlier, it didn't "flow" all that well. They have fixed it. It now contains a start/stop like the others (which it didn't have before) and an additional 3 words.

YOU HAVE REMOVED THE LITTLE BIRD

FROM THE CAGE IN WHICH I PLACED HIM

FOR HIS OWN PROTECTION. BLESS YOU.

IF HE'S TO SURVIVE THE DAYS TO COME

HE NEEDS FRIENDS WHO WILL MAKE A CONCERTED EFFORT

ON HIS BEHALF, WHICH YOU HAVE NOW MUSTERED.

WELCOME TO THE NEXT LEVEL

Now what does Welcome To The Next Level mean? Do you think we have to wait for further instruction, or are we expected to move on somehow? Thoughts?

Sorry about the he, cemgate.

"WELCOME TO THE NEXT LEVEL' is a fairly common slogan, as a Google search reveals. Most notoriously, at least in my neck of the woods, it was used as the marketing slogan by Sega for their old Genesis console video game system in the 90's.

It could be a hint to a new web site of some sort. I briefly looked over some of the more interesting Google hits but didn't notice anything notable.

I've tried different variations with the thoughtscapes URL, including "thenextlevel", "nextlevel", "level2", "leveltwo".to no avail.
