If someone could get a scan of the postcard, I would like to see it as soon as possible seeing as I didn't receive one today. I suggest starting a new thread for the postcard so that the discussion can be separated from this monster thread. If you can't scan it, would it be possible to get a transcription of the morse code at least. Thanks...oh and by the way could that first word be "deaddrop". I just got goosebumps.

I'm all for the idea of starting up a new thread on this. In the meantime, I'm going to try very very hard not to leave work to go check my mail...

Most likely the words on the front are DEADDROP ACTIVE
Also the code on the back may start with a Q or an O, not sure, mine seems a bit smudged.
Also theres a mary queen of scots message on the front that says 'cypher in trouble'

Ha, I missed the most obvious thing on the postcard, on the front it has:
www.studiocypher.com/emergency
It doesn't obviously look like the domain name goes with 'emergency' so thats why I missed it

Most of the studio cypher www site seems to be down. I'm not sure if this is in-game or meta.
If it's in-game we should probably try to contact Kevin, but I doubt email would reach him if the computers are down??? Could this be the work of whatever has infected the "Batch Processor"?

Short form? I doubt it's an in-game thing.
Long form, the mail servers respond to ping and HELO requests. I'm sure we can email. I emailed webmasterSPLAT studiocypher.com and it didn't bounce.
Also, it's an error 500, a server error. If the mail is responding, I'm assuming it's a directory thing.

Edit: Confirmed.

It's a server problem, but we're looking into it.

Hmmph.
It's a good thing we don't have a lamp to rub.
"I wish"... That reminds me that Charles wrote that the last wish should always be used to wish the spirit back into it's vessel.
I may be misremembering, but I've got to jam. Regardless, John speaks of three of the artifacts being used.
That leaves one more, or someone making even more of them.
And using the words "I wish" doesn't exactly sound like a ritual to me.
Would someone be kind enough to start up a new topic, please?

That matches my count.

No, I think the ritual needed is one of the two referred to in the book-ciphered page from the Waverly cache. Unfortunately, we don't have the actual rituals, and if we did, they require a drastic sacrifice.

Hi all! I'm a bit late to the game here, but I've been organizing the forum a bit and adding labels to threads. I've marked this thread as the trailhead thread since it's where the discussion started for the game. Since it's 25+ pages long, can everyone continue to create new topics rather than making this one even longer? Thanks!
