I decided to try contacting the webmaster, and got a response:

Oops. I just gave you a secret, didn't I? Smile

The rest won't be too much longer.

[E-mail] Kevin re: Gray O on mouse over

Regarding Nos' comment about the grau O possibly being a mobious strip I got this reply:

---original message---
Hi Kevin, a few of us were kicking around the Gray O that
shows up on mouse over. We were wondering if it is just a fancy font O or if it is a Mobius strip representation. Nos was the one who thought it might be a mobius strip.

Thanks

Perhaps your question should not be "What is the symbol?" but
rather "What is a Cypher?"

It's a good thing to be asking questions. Answers will not be
too long in coming. Well, some answers.

Which Thenre already found the cypher page.

I also sent:

more than TV dinners and safe little life. At least one person is good at
finding secrets. The rest of us will just have to provide support. Smile

Steff,

Me though, I smile all the time.

I'm glad to know you can find secrets. Proves that I'm right! As
usual.

And there will be more secrets for you to find very soon. The
patient are rewarded.

Maybe not a clue per se, but at least we are getting personalized responses. That makes me happy.

LOL just putting Daredevil and Ghost into google and I'm getting hits that deal with the movie version of the Ghost Rider Comic. Seems the director from Daredevil will be working on it.

Edit:

Other Random Thoughts:

Hachita is also a character from MacKenna's Gold. "Old" Hachita NM was a mining community.

Having looked at the information regarding Hachita Experiments - all those pictures contain are vapor trails of aircraft. I can take similar ones from my home too, as I live near and international airport.

Answer to Nos question

Hey Nos, here is an answer for your question...

From Chat
Quote:

<Synchronicity> "What is a Cypher", Cypher capitalized as a proper noun
<EGo> Cypher is a symbol for zero.
<Synchronicity> Well, then, there's your "O" Smile

Ah, well, it worth a shot. And mobis strip! I knew that, just couldn't think of it...*grumbles* Thanks for answering.

Another thing to add, Hachita is very near to Las Cruces, New Mexico, which is right next to White Sands Missle Range, where the first nuclear bomb was tested. Trinity Site and all. Also, for miles and miles, between Alamagordo and Las Cruces, is military land. As in 'you will be shot if you step over the fence on the side of the road' land. Heh.

IMHO http://www.okimc.org has a lot of potential info. I noticed the nav bar on the left has a link for a translation website. Seems like an odd link to have on a news website. May be meaningless but I find it interesting.

I retract this. After more review I think it is a real site, just odd.

Hey, I have been watching most ARG's from the sidelines for months now, decided to actually get involved with one from the start! Very Happy

at the minute aint git much to add, except that I have found the exact image that the Ouroboros is taken from.

A man named Theodoros Pelecanos in 1478, Synosius. I think "synosius" is a religious title but am not 100% sure, so this could have religious repercushions, maybe not?

am new so if this all sounds like rubbish just say I can take it on the chin! Cool Cool Cool

OK, I joined.

After taking a couple weeks of to mourn the death of the first ARG I joined, I plan to fight avidly for this one's survival.

Hmmm...Regarding the website All Too Flat, they've been around for a while, they do skits and pranks and such I believe.

I've not investigated deeply into this much yet, but I belive we must wait 'till training.

<edit>
Just because Ididn't feel like PMing or making a new post or looking anything up...

what's with the "at" sign always being splat?

...@!

and then it appears....

*confuzed*

How and where did you hear about this prior to the end of the IDEASfest ARG? How long has the sign-up page been available?
