OT: Da Vinci Code competitions

Just to let you know that Google and Eurostar are both running competitions to promote the Da Vinci Code movie (or should that be the The Da Vinci Code movie?)

Google's is at flash.sonypictures.com/movies/davincicodequest/ and finishes tomorrow (12 May). There are 24 challenges, four each of six types. Quite fun, not too hard, but they get harder. Make sure you register for the right country.

Eurostar's is at www.jointhequest.com and finishes on 30 May. I can't see what the challenges are at work as I can't download the correct version of Flash, but it looks like a similar set of challenges. €200,000 and Eurostar tickets for life are the main prizes.

I completed the google quest last night after several days of insanity trying to solve the puzzles, 'twas much fun Smile

I completed it yesterday at around 10PM EST. (-5 GMT) I had a lot of fun with it. There were a few questions that just stumped me for a few hours. But I did figure them out.

With the aid of google and my l33t su doku skillz, I think I finished all of the puzzles in about an hour and a half one evening. Very simple, but got most annoyed with those stoopid little 'click the dots' ones.

I shall now proceed not to win anything Smile

Aye, I also had fun with the Google quest, but found the puzzles for the most part pretty easy. I did have difficulty with some of the art hanging ones and the click on the dots ones were indeed infuriating, but overall, good times.

I too, shall now proceed to fail to win anything.

If you like puzzles and code solving, and you live in the US, try HedgeGames.

A thread in UF has been started here.

Warning: The forum associated with the game on it's own site, called The Forest, is very slow to load and the noise to solve ratio is a little weak.
