I think I've got number 1 (Well, not 'got', but it's that annoying song that I can never remember the name of -.-)
I can't make out the sheets for the other 3 though. Too blurry and horrible.

If it's the opening riff to
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Come as you are
(can't read the card clearly enough myself) then that 'borrows' quite heavily from
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
'Eighties' by Killing Joke
so you could try that. God, suddenly I'm feeling very old .

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
1. smoke on the water
2. come as you are
3. sweet child of mine
4. today
picky about spelling though - I got it on my last attempt.
Edit: if you dont want the answers for 3 and 4
here is a good place to look for riffs...

Or you could grab a guitar and work them out by putting fingers in the right place and plucking strings

Huh. Maybe I should have stuck with my guitar lessons when I was younger................Can't remember any of it to manage to play the riffs, but stuck it all in a tab editor and played them that way. Bit iffy, but got there in the end!

its either a pull off (although that sometimes has a little p thingy) or maybe just a slide
thank you for the transcription tho dps :) unfortunately my acoustic guitar has gone missing, and these two aren't bassable like the first two were (unless i do some serious detuning) but i've not even got the card yet so i guess there's no rush. although if number 3 is what i think it might be then i will be *very* happy :)
edit:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
if the the transcription is correct, then that sweet child of mine tab is wrong, but i recognised it so i guess i can let them off. its not caine's fault, i guess slash might've got a little skewed going all that way. and its nice to see he likes the pumpkins, even if i didnt get that one without googling
rach =)

Heh what a quality card...was stuck on 3 until I just heard it on the radio Much like when I solved 'Mice Aroma' for Mondegreen (although I think my GF is now wondering why I just shouted 'Of course!' )

I'm not too sure about the drop-tuning on the last two; why is every string down a semitone?
Anyone know more about the songs than me and can tell me if this is actually how these bands run their guitars?

A lot of bands tune their guitars down a semitone for some songs, I think it's because it's easier to sing in that key. Basket Case by Green Day is another example.
I never really saw the point in doing it when I played, you can always just move your hand one fret towards the body and it doesn't matter too much unless you have to play the low Eb.
