ok, some random thoughts that may or may not tie in to previous ideas.

based on the shared natural disaster theme and a pun, I tried twister (tounge twister), and as a random tangent to this I also went for glacier (apparently they have tongues as well)

neither worked, but thought it may trigger some more ideas, and at the very least saves you two attempts for something else!

Wow lots of ideas everyone keep going the card has to be solved sooner or later, it's not like trying to prove Reimann lol although it feels like it.

Probaby a stupid idea but has anyone tried marking the capital cities by continent on a map and joining them up to see if it spells anything? Just thought this might make a word as was used on previous cards.

I thought about national anthems last night but couldn't make a connection. Maybe we are all trying to establish some complicated link when in fact there is a simple solution, has anyone thought about transposing the missing countries onto a map instead of the highlighted ones to see if there's a pattern there ?

Remember, there is nothing on the card to say that the countries shown are linked, maybe MC are so devious we're looking at the wrong countries, I know this is a long shot but as we're all finding it difficult to establish a link between them, maybe it's because we're looking in the wrong place? I don't have the card so I'm a bit lost on the background aspect, but just out of interest has anyone tried :

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
tidal waves or tsunami ?

I think that would rule out Canada and Russia but this really is proving difficult

In other news, failing to find links across, national symbols, animals, foods, flags, colours, days and coats of arms!

I'm going to look through this website and see if there are any common threads between the countries on the card.
