Did try

My list was albanian, georgian, russian, gaelic, somali, afar/ertra, lao, hebrew, dutch, uzbek, japanese, korean. That actually comes to 12, which shows how much of a rush I was in to get it entered.

The list of countries in their own language of the right sort of length is

I'm hoping that by the morning this list will look very silly. Don't know why those men in shades have appeared. Nothing to do with me.

Thoth (Egyptain god who, according to ancient Egyptians, was responsible for the invention of spoken and written language) are not correct.
Thoth is also known as Tehuti, can someone try that?

miamo_tutti told me he would try to post a hint here tonight... or maybe he meant the PXC forums. Keep an eye on both.

Hello

Hi, I'm Eric. Having solved the card, I'm still not entirely sure I reached the answer in the way that was intended, so any hints I give may not be completely bona fide. Still I'm happy to give them, starting with this one...

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

One particular anagramming that I have seen mentioned in this thread should lead you to the answer, even though it may not directly be asking a question.

If that turns out not to be enough, I'll post more.
